  This place was great! Open late night on a Sunday which is why we came, had some beers and BBQ it was excellent. Super nice server and BBQ/mac&cheese/tots combination was great! We also got a pizza and it was great too!! We were visiting from Raleigh, check it out.

  Yes just yes! I have only been to the bar side of it, but if you want a good environment to go to, this is the place. It used to be Murphy's but it has changed. Personally I think it is still absolutely amazing. Can't beat it. Andrew the bartender makes amazing breakfast shots and Katie makes amazing drinks all around.

  This place has really cleaned up its act since transitioning from Murphy's Pub! The food is great and I love the atmosphere - it's like sitting in a chill coffee shop but being able to get a real meal at the same time.

  Updates are great and the food is getting back to what it was as Murphy's. Service however is incredible. Major improvements there. Best pizza and wings in town. Beer is so much better with new taps and tap lines and a new bar.

  Stopped in here not knowing what to expect but this place is wonderful. Wonderfully kind staff and delicious food! We all loved it and left full and satisfied. Prices were great as well! Would return without a doubt!

  Recently I had the opportunity to have breakfast and lunch at Ransom. The food was great and service was awesome. Wonderful restaurant with an even better commitment to help in the worlds water crisis.

  Food was very good ( wings ) best in town. Service was very slow. 7 minutes to be served at the bar. Customers always come first. Training issue. After that all good till the end. After my check came the server would rather convers with the other staff than swipe my debit card. The next server took my card and took it to the server to have her swipe it. Training issue. Never make the customer wait. I have been in retail/customer service for over 35 years, you never make the customer wait. Over all good visit. I think the new management will get this fixed. I have been a customer here for over 25 years and will be back.

  Murphy's, or Ransom, as it's now called, has an indoor restaurant, a pub with live music, and an outdoor patio seating area. Staff is very friendly and food is delicious. You absolutely HAVE to try the cheesy fries. They will blow you away.

  Murphy's Pub is one of the only places in town with several billiards tables, so that makes it a popular spot for the young and old alike. As with most bars the food is good enough to satisfy your appetite but won't be your only reason for coming. Unfortunately the tap lines are rarely flushed or cleaned so unless it has been busy expect on draft brews to stale and funky. The patio out back is a pleasant place for chatting with friends when the bar front is packed with individuals seeking refreshment. The interesting weekly specials, such as mystery beer Tuesdays, make it a fun place to hang.

  Great pizza!
  
  Easily worth the $15 for a fully loaded pizza with great texture from the fresh dough.
  
  I called ahead to order - everything went as planned!
  
  The restaurant had a couple seated at a table, but there was no one at the front. Had to ask the bartender, but everything went smoothly after that.
  
  Will have to check it out as a pub another time.
