Great atmosphere, modern and clean. Was enjoyable going in here late one night. But if your looking for good sushi I would recommend elsewhere, sushi wasn't up to proper standard. After 11pm you can get it half price which almost makes it worthwhile.. but it's definitely amature grade. Overall we did enjoy our visit here. Technically I'd give it 3.6 out of 5 stars.. just for fun. :)

Cobo has the BEST sushi - not just in Boone, but some of the best, freshest, unique rolls I've had in the country, and I've eaten at a LOT of sushi places. Try the Yosef and the Appalachian rolls, and if you're not into nori, they have the Mile High Stack which doesn't have any seaweed but still stays together! Also, this might sound weird, but they have one of the coolest bathrooms in Boone - make sure you at least go wash your hands in there.

LOVE this place. The service is always really good as well as the food! I have no complaints. Also, Michael (one of the bartenders) makes phenomenal cocktails! It is my favorite sushi place in Boone, by far.

We have been in Boone for our vacation and we had to have some sushi. We looked at the reviews and this restaurant had the best reviews and now we know why. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, the service was great and the sushi was outstanding. We definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Wait staff is super nice! Laid back restaurant with a hipster edge. Busy and packed but it was well worth the wait! The food was amazing!!! Ordered the tuna as an appetizer. It was so delicious I could've made that my meal. We also had the rainbow sushi rolls, and sunshine sushi rolls. I can't say enough about the food everything was perfect! Best sushi ever! Highly recommend!!!!

I went to CoBo last night on the recommendation of a friend and was very glad I did. The place was crowded so I took a seat at the bar. The bartender was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. The coconut milk soup (their version of Tom Cha soup) was as good as I've ever had. My wife got the house salad with ginger dressing. The salad was fresh and the dressing was outstanding. The sushi came and was fresh and delicious. The only miss of the night was the dessert. We shared the CoBo version of cheesecake. It was a cheesecake bar, topped with a croissant that appeared to be fried topped with fresh whipped cream. The cheese cake bar was just not very good and the croissant was hard and crusty. Either overcooked, been sitting too long, or both. Just not good. So skip dessert, otherwise it was a great sushi meal.

The place offers a nice variety of sushi options, with something for everyone. They also offer nigiri and sashimi for those who want something more traditional/simpler.

The best sushi in the area, but that does come with a wait. While they may tell you it's a 20 min wait, that short time quickly grows to the point where you may be waiting there for close to an hour. Food is definitely worth trying to get a table.

We were told there would be a 30 minute wait. After 45 minutes and watching 3 parties who came in after us get seated, we finally got a table, but waited another 5 minutes before a server helped us. Her service was fantastic and she was as friendly as possible. The sushi was delicious, but was expensive and left us hungry. Summary statement: the atmosphere was great, the overall service was ok, but the wait time made it not worth it.

Now we know where to get sushi in the Mountains! Nice change of pace from the regular delicious food we get in Boone. This is going to sound positively insane, but I judge a restaurant by the bathroom. If they can't keep the bathroom clean, odds are the rest of the place is dirty as well. This place was WONDERFULnice, clean bathroom & delicious sushi. Great combination.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Great lighting and trendy atmosphere. Servers are very personable and accommodating. Amazing food and drinks. Sometimes you get chefs that make true works of art.
