Beautiful location, great camping sites! Spaces ate big enough for one fairly large tent and one medium tent, maybe for a third tiny tent too. They all work well for RVs and have cement fire pits. Close to Sundance. Only complaint: a road goes to the North and South of the camp and super loud ATVs were roaring around them at all hours.

This has always been a good place to camp, Until last night. There was a bunch of drunk campers. To make it even worst on their part, one claimed to be a Cop, and the camp host Don knew who these people are. The camp host Don told us he will not get out of his camper to deal with problems until a certain time.

I've been to this campground several times and I love it. It's very shaded and there are lots of trees. The facilities are great, bathrooms are better than most campgrounds I've been to. It's also very close to the Stewart Falls and Mt. Timpanogas trail head.

Best place for camping and trekking. Beware that this tell is rated advanced meaning it's better if you have some experience in telling and camping before trying this. It's around 7 miles one way and the path is step for the first 5 miles. Start early or after 4 in the evening to avoid heat.

Also very important thing is inquire about the status of the trek before leaving for it as they close the place because of runaway snow.

Rival tribes were encamped all around us but there were plenty of resources to craft your own defenses. The small grasses that grew on the roadside were great for lashing. After building up our own camp we got into a bit of a political game by interacting with the other camps. As a social experiment we gave one camp a fish and taught the other camp how to fish. We'll go back in a lifetime to see what the results are.

I don't think this is labeled correctly. Anyway, Timpanogos is one of my favorite mountains for many reasons, one of them being the great places to camp.

Nice quiet campground. Good spots, water and toilets. The price of 21 dollars a night is way to high for a campground that doesn't offer: garbage management (starts smelling after a few days) and showers. We are travelling thru the US and are shocked by the ammount of money they are asking in Utah for medium sites. If you want to buy firewood don't forget to bring gold so you can pay it for. If they charged 15 dollars (same as in Arches) that would be a lot better. Shame on you Utah!
