We came in to White Pine Touring last weekend to go ski shopping. Mike was super helpful and took time with my wife and me to help us get the best setup. The guys in the shop got them mounted in a hurry because we were in from out of town we had a great experience overall.

I cannot say enough good things about the service at this store - it is fantastic. The staff has a deep knowledge of ski gear and technology and will gladly spend significant time discussing the right option for you in great detail. Mike Caldwell is your man if you want to discuss what will suit your personal needs best, including patiently and in great detail describing the ins and outs of ski technology, pros and cons of not only brands but models within particular brands. And, while Mike clearly has an encycolpedic knowledge of and great enthusiasm for skiing and ski equipment, he is happy for you to learn and feel comfortable, presenting the information in a welcoming way. Other staffers at the store are also friendly, helpful and make you want to get out and have fun. I would say this store is an authority in the country when it comes to to telemark skiing. They also have a great selection of general gear, jackets, etc. I will be a very long time customer of White Pine Touring - LOVE THIS STORE!

My buddy and I had never done a tour before we rode with Chris from White Pines Touring. I'm not sure I'll ever go out west without a guided mtb again! He was great. Rode our speed and our level, taught us different things without being overbearing, gave us a perfect experience and even went so far as to recommend different rides for our other days. What a wonderful experience. I recommend White Pines for guided mtb tours 100%. Chris was an exceptional guide and I would urge anyone that calls this company to request him for your riding! -tc

We ran into one of your guided climbing tours up in the Uintas last weekend and I could not have been more unimpressed. Not only did your guides run top-ropes down the majority of the wall we were all sharing that day, they hiked up, and dropped a rope down on top of us on a route we were just roping in to sport climb. It was blatantly obvious that it was intentional and when we tried to talk to the guide all he said was "yeah, sorry." Maybe some forethought could be used next time if you're bringing a group of 15 people to a wall with only 6 "sport" routes on it but as a warning to future groups, hire a different service that doesn't bully locals who have just as much of a right to climb in those same places.

This store was great, It had an amazing selection of high end bikes, water bottles, outdoor supplies, and cloths. My family is from Austin Texas and we had a vacation here in park city, My son wanted to go mountain biking and we decided to do a guided tour. My son loved and said he would do it again. The guide was Chris, he knew what he was doing and was an excellent mountain biker. If we go back to park city we are definitely going back to White Pine Touring.

I had a great experience here, renting a mtn bike. Mike was super helpful in getting me the bike I wanted and set-up for my ride. Mike also went over the top in helping me map out a ride. I was also able to purchase everything I needed to ride as I came a little under prepared. I went to White Pine Touring after visiting several other nearby shops and THIS is the place for mountain biking info and product. This will be my go to shop for all my future Park City visits!!

The guys at white pine are top notch!! Great, fast service. Everyone in the shop was welcoming and helpful. They got our bikes fixed up quickly and for an extremely good deal! I will be taking all of my future bike service needs to these guys. I highly recommend this shop!

Celebrated my birthday this week with my family on a moonlight snowshoe hike led by Victoria. Our group included three children - ages 6, 9 and 11 and three adults and EVERYONE had a fantastic time! It was just the right balance of exercise and enjoyment as we hiked up the mountain taking periodic breaks to view the moon and stars from the cover of the trees and had a blast hiking/sliding back down the hill. At Victoria's suggestion we completed the evening with a meal at a restaurant on the hill which was absolutely awesome. It could not have been a better birthday celebration. Incidentally, I met Victoria the first time last Fall when she took me on a guided 3 hour bike tour - she tailored it to my skills and physical ability and I had so much fun trying out the local trails for the first time. The bike I rented for my trip from White Pine had a minor issue but they replaced it with no problem and I cannot wait to get out there again when the snow clears!

Quality and well maintained equipment, friendly staff. A Responsibly managed business.

My original complaint is below, but after being contacted by the manager a fair arrangement was reached. My advice to all in aid of avoiding confusion is to clearly communicate your abilities and expectations to the guide prior to commencement of the ride. Especially if you are of a higher fitness and/or skill level.

Paid for a 3hr fat bike tour and was rushed back in 1hr 30min. Not impressed.

Rented some bikes from them and they gave us great service. They had some quality bikes for us. They helped get my bike just right and helped us figure out where to go. We would definitely come back for future visits!
