Went to this place for the first time the other day for a work luncheon. The waitress were quick and kept the drinks refilled. The food was good and had big portions. A little expensive but definitely worth it.

I can't tell you how amazing this place is. We had to make a trip to Jaskson College and found this gem. They aren't joking when they say they have great steaks!! These steaks are huge and so flavorful. So many options. It's great for family or dining alone. Reasonable prices. Personally, I think the could charge more for the steaks. 10/10.

I visited this restaurant for the second time. I ordered the fillet mignon. It was tender and delicious. I ordered a salad. It was disappointingly bland and not so fresh. The restaurant was clean, but it was chilly and a little drafty. The waitress was not very attentive. Coffee was pretty good.

Fantastic steaks, good portion, and very well priced.
This is a low-key restaurant that is comfortable, but doesn't have frills. Might be one of the reasons their steaks are so affordable.
It's extremely busy, but the wait staff is SUPERB and the food is AMAZING. We will be going here anytime we want a steak.
I had a 20oz Delmonico Ribeye that was stuffed with seafood (shrimp, scallops, crab, lobster). It was out of this world. It was basically two steaks with the chopped up seafood in between. Clearly enough for two people to share. You can even get a kids steak for your munchkins.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Go get you some steak.response / report this review -

Amazing food, great prices. The fried catfish and the ultimate bacon cheeseburger are 2 of my favorites. Comfy atmosphere and amazing service make this one of the best restaurants in Jackson.

Its like going to your grandma's for dinner. 70's decor its the basics nothing fancy BUT the steaks were great. the seafood was wonderful. The staff were on the ball and nothing felt rushed. Looked as though everyone in the restaurant was happy.

Amazing place! Have been here twice now - first time got the ribeye lunch special which brought me back the next time I was in Jackson. Second time I ordered the seafood stuffed steak (I've been calling this the Turf and Surf and more Turf) and probably wont order anything else ever again. Will be going out of my way in the future to find reasons to travel through Jackson just to stop here. Always a pleasure.

I choose to take my wife here for are 24th Anniversary on July 31st. It was absolutely wonderful and very reasonable prices. I was thinking it would cost a lot as most steak houses do but it was only $33 and even though it was very busy the waitress always was there refilling are drinks I would highly recommend Steak Eatery to anyone that ask me for a suggestion. We will definitely be back

We arrived on time and our table for eleven was ready and off in a private area. The hostess greeted us and was very friendly.
Outstanding table service. Waitstaff was very attentive and with six kids.very accommodating!! Bread baskets (warm!!) and all beverages were kept filled.
Except for one person, all of us were served at one time. The late meal was due to a misunderstanding of what was ordered. It was corrected within five minutes. The tab was correct and our main server received a generous tip!!
As one who has dined at many restaurants across the country, I highly recommend that you keep Steaks Eatery on the A List!!response / report this review -

Only about a 30 minute wait on a busy Friday night. We have been here several times, mostly during the week. We found the food to be tasty as ever and plenty to eat. However, it seemed like the kitchen must have been extremely busy as we waited a long time for our food. Think we will stick to visiting them during the week.
