Bought a quad here at a terrific price and the crew was super helpful and friendly.
Very happy with the sales department and inventory. Look forward to purchasing my 2nd bike soon.
This the smaller of the two State 8 locations. They have a limited selection of bikes and gear. Like all dealerships expect to pay more than with a private seller. The sales staff were freindly and quick to answer questions. They list most of their bikes on the website.
Horrible service. No phone calls or updates. They have been working on my bike for a month. Just for a statter or what ever it's called to charge my battery. Price seemed high but still not done fixing my bike. Hopefully soon Maybe they'll call tomorrow🤞
Continued.. I called the next day and bike was completed. People are nice that work there and very helpful. I bought over 5 bikes there. So sales department is good. But the no calls and service time 👎.
Pow was very helpful in all aspects. He is definitely a attribute for State 8. I encourage everyone to stop in and see him if you are looking for a motorcycle or 4 wheeler.
Not impressed. Was in the market for a Victory. Showed them the other offers I had and they said they could match prices. When I showed up it was another story Had to buy from another dealer 2 hours the other way. After buying the bike I tried to schedule a 500 mile service appointment. "We don't make appointments. We are first come first serve. Drop your bike off today and we'll try to get to it in the next 10 days." What??? Yeah, keep my bike for 10 days during peak riding season for an oil change and inspection. No thanks. Not a well run outfit. Try Bairs or All Ohio.
This is the second time I have visited this dealer, both times I have walked around looking for about 15 minutes and no one even acknowledge me. I am a cash buyer but will try somewhere else that offers better customer service. Sales people were standing around talking so they weren't busy.
I called State 8, Medina Ohio this afternoon wanting to get an oil change and have them look at the handle bars due to a towing issue. I was told that I will need to bring in my bike and leave it there and it could take 10 to 14 days before they could even look at it but I must leave it.
AND they DO NOT take appointments.
That would be like a car dealership saying you have to leave your car but it could take 2 weeks before we can do anything about it.
NO THANK YOU!
I called Bair Motorsports in canton ohio. Even made an APPOINTMENT. They will be looking at it on Monday! 🤗
YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER STATE 8.
I would just love to hear your response to this issue.
And by the way, I live 8 miles from state 8.
These dudes is good to go. No pushy sales just quality Q&A. Bought 2 brand new quads from them on separate occasions and would buy again.
very helpful and knowledgeable!
customer is not the first concern. called at 10 o'clock in the morning when they opened for business to inquire about a bike, they said it was there and available. I told the salesman that i live 3 hours away i'm on my way there to buy it. I drove 150 miles to their shop just to find that the salesman had sold it a half hour before i got there. found another bike that i was interested in for a decent price (as though I thought) bought the bike, salesman said give them an hour or so to check the bike over to make sure everything was good in which I paid $199.00 for. Needless to say i got half way home the front and rear wheel bearings went out, and the rear master cylinder quit working, so I had no brakes on the rear of the bike and a whole bike wobble that i had to deal with. Moral of the story, buyer beware I will not be back and do not recommend them either.
Great one stop shop for All Motorcycle.
Do your self a favor and find another dealer! Made a deal to buy a Kowalski Mule from this place, and was just waiting for them to make a few minor repairs on it. I called a couple times a week for 3 weeks just to be told they were waiting on parts or found something else wrong with it. I finally personally stopped in to see what was up with it just to be told they sold it to someone else, and the salesman was anything BUT apologetic. Needless to say this is a shady place!
State 8 is crazy great! My tricked out Katana 600 crotch rocket that I own, ride, and use for occasional stunting was sent there for a valve adjustment/miscellaneous work and I have to say that my impression of the service department is overwhelmingly professional & courteous in a fun atmosphere. I could tell right off the bat as soon as I left my bike with them it would be returned to me running stronger and meaner than ever. Very cool people who work there. I highly recommend this place, especially if you own a Suzuki. Trust me you will not be disappointed.
