Great hotel! Entire place is spotless and the staff is very polite. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in town.

The hotel is away from most things in Athens, but it is extremely nice and quiet; perfect for a work trip. Even though the hotel is a little out of the way, it's not too far from anything in Athens. This is my favorite place to stay when I come.

I love the fact that I'm staying for 3 nights and 3 days but everyday they come in my room and clean and make my bed. I have stayed at other Marriott's and they didn't do that. The only timed they would clean or bring new wash towels is when I would ask for it but here they automatically do it.

Very nice, clean and modern decor. All staff were friendly and helpful. Outdoor pool. Small exercise room with 1 elliptical and 2 treadmills. Sugn on door stated guest could use local gym and to inquire at front desk. I did not.

Favorite hotel to stay in Athens because we have 6 in my family. They have recently remodeled the rooms and in to doing so they have taken away the double soda bed and changed it with a sofa bed that creates two single beds. The single beds are not very comfortable at all. This is a big deal to my family since most hotels we have to get two rooms and used to love the accommodations for 6. Now my boys don't want to stay here because of the new bed situation. Please inquire if this is a concern to your family as well.

We've been coming to this Marriott property 2 or 3 times a year for about 6 years. It is a great place to stay. Extremely well maintained, both inside and out. Very clean and they've just remodeled the inside. Awesome.

Great newer hotel. Rooms are comfy and modern and the customer service was great. Their continental breakfast was super clean and well kept. I was impressed!

Probably the best hotel I have been to in a long time! The sheets and comforter were white which was great because you could see if there were spots on them. The suites were spacious. They upgraded their rooms. The only two things that they could have changed was the tiling in the shower and the brownish gray couch in the suite (kind of made it look dark).
I liked the small touches as they thought of everything like the plates in the microwave and the cutlery. Newspapers downstairs when you need them and plenty of towels.
I thought the breakfast could have had more variety.
They had a connection with St Mary's gym which was 24 hours you could work out there and I thought that was a bonus for the hotel. I love the fact that it was situated away from the highway, the stores, and all the businesses because I wanted a nice quiet escape and they provided that. But it's still only 10 min away from Wal-Mart! Great hotel!response / report this review -

Great place and service, breakfast is amazing. The only downside is the "gym." It's about the size of a regular office room, with two treadmills.
