Nice clean cozy hotel w/friendly staff not too far from downtown. Good size rooms w/suite and 1br options available for not much more $ (definitely worth it for the extra space to spread out). They are currently doing some work on the hotel and updating the rooms. (Minimal noise and impact on our stay the couple times we've stayed there 2x recently)

Really enjoyed my stay here. It's got it's own parking lot and a lovely large quiet lobby. The rooms were big and clean, and the staff was welcoming. If I'm ever back in Athens this is where I'm gonna stay.

Traveling entertainers know what it takes to be a top-notch property and this hotel has it all. Laundry room, excellent bedrooms, free parking, and a free breakfast! This hotel is conveniently located and we will definitely stay here again. At first we thought the floors were heated because the bathroom was so cozy. It was late when we arrived and the staff greeted us warmly. We decided we were a little bit hungry and turns out there's an Applebee's right next door that was incredibly lively at midnight. We slept very deeply. The beds felt clean and comfortable without feeling sterile. There was no "do not disturb" sign and still no one disturbed us! Five stars !

Good location close to most everything, service was good. Room left a little to be desired. Stains on the carpet and couch, someone else's hair in my bed. I mean come on just change the sheets problem solved. I went to Walmart and bought my own sheets. Shower could use a good scrubbing.

I have never stayed anywhere with this unique layout and design. Stop by just to see the WONDERFUL design. It's worth staying for the free breakfast. Full breakfast everydaywafflessausage.. eggscerealoatmealtoastpastriescoffee/cookies(free 24/7)bagels etcyummy

Delicious! Visiting relatives from out of town, and met them here for Sunday brunch at their suggestion. So happy we did! The food was superb. The menu selections--from chocolate chip pancakes to English muffin with salmon and brie-- were varied enough to please everyone in our party of 8 (including kids) and all meals were obviously made with fresh ingredients. Portions were quite generous. Relaxed, but quietly elegant atmosphere.

Absolutely horrible service by the front desk associate Jordan(daytime). He was rude and unprofessional.
Once I spoke to the manager she was understanding and compensated for the unprofessionalism of her young male staff member that works the desk but she did defend him and stated that she doesnt know what happened with me and him. She did not accept that he was unprofessional.
Since she listened to us so I will give the hotel a 2 but there are some major issues at this location. We heard other paying customers complaining when we arrived about their unsatisfactory stay.
The male front desk associate continued to ignore us the rest of our stay. Rooms are nice but have an odd odor, the hotel seems to be older and the A.C. did not seem to be working in the entire hotel.response / report this review -

The facility is nice, but no hot water. Water turned all the way to hot, water was warm for a few minutes and tuned cold quickly. We took cold showers for 2 days. Told front desk and they said they were sorry. Country Inn needs to correct this problem ASAP.

Jan and her staff took incredible care of us. The hospitality was truly 5 stars. Room was clean and the location was safe. We will definitely be sending friends and business associates to this property in the future. Thanks again!
