I used to love this place and my family has been bringing our car to Speedy for over ten years. It breaks my heart to say that you can no longer expect the same quality of work and affordability with no BS since they have been bought by a corporate chain. I have personally seen the markup in price soar after their acquisition and the corporate policy forces them to try to upsell aggressively every step of the way.

I literally grew up going to Speedy with my father when he would get oil changes for the car he would later give to me on my 21st birthday. I am a second-generation customer and I am ashamed that the corporation (Monro Muffler/Brake) has completely gutted a beloved small business like this.

3 years later update: August 2017
I just wanted to again recomend this place. They have changed owners and aren't Speedy anymore. But the team is the same great team. They recently did some work on my engine that fixed a problem I had been dealing with for 2 months. I sent my car to two different mechanics and they kept trial and erroring their way through the issue. Costing me big bucks. Finally I took it to Roger and the guys here and they identified the problem and got it fixed on their first attempt. Should have taken it there in the first place! My car is running smoother than ever and I even have better gas milage.

New owners tend to want to shake stuff up. But I'd warn these new owners against that. They are doing absolutely fine as is. Just leave them alone and let them do what they do.

These guys are great. I have an older vehicle and I have already had to take my car in repair 3 times in the past year. I keep coming back to these guys because they are honest and fair in price. Roger is the guy that usually does the talking. Really nice guy. I had an issue with my car and he gave me two options for a fix. He said we could do this the expensive more permanent way or we could throw something together cheaply and get it running again.

He could have just gave me the expensive route and that's that but he knew that because I was driving a 20 year old car that I'd probably be more interested in the bare minimum needed to drive it again. I appreciated the honesty and I've been coming back ever since.

great mechanics that do the job right, decent prices for their work. can only handle up to 19" wheels for an alignment though

Car lock was broken. Took the car to their place. After the work done, the car still won't recognize if car lock is locked or not. They don't know what is going on, and said I might need spend another 300-500 to change a module. They charged me for 200+ for the unfinished work anyway. Take the car to the dealer, it turned out they should have changed another part instead. Very unhappy with this dishonest service!!

A shock broke on our way up from Ohio, lucky for us these guys were open! Super friendly and extremely helpful. They were able to find the problem quickly and get our part in a timely manner. Fixed us up and had us back on the road before closing time. Very thankful that they were able to help us out the day before Xmas eve. Highly recommend these guys!

decided to give a go for oil change after reading a lot of good review in the internet. asked for online quotation and got the reply and appointment availability within hours. the people there are courteous and friendly. completed the overall process around 40 minutes. Roger the manager provided me with a list of items that need fixing in the near future with no pressure or hard sell. Very happy with the experience so far and will be going again soon.
