My boyfriend bought me an hour massage as a gift and when we call to schedule it they were really helpful over the phone. This place is great! The staff was really friendly and nice. The massage was amazing! Will definitely come back.

I had a wonderful time here. The staff are super polite and helpful, and the facilities are well-equipped and clean. I got to hang out at the pool for a couple hours after my massage; it was great!

We had a Gilt voucher for an 80 minute massage, but were given a 50 minute massage instead.
I provided the written confirmation, but the staff (specifically Jessica, my wife's massage therapist) kept arguing that what they had given us was correct. Jessica was bringing all kinds of other information into the mix to justify their actions. I told them I can read and understand english well and a 80 minute couples massage is what our Gilt certificate specifies.
I only got somewhere when I asked for the manager. Only then did they see what I was talking about. There was no manager but one of the spa owners was present and apologized. He stated that they are in a transition state and offered gift cards for 50 minute massages. He confirmed the certificate specified an 80 minute massage and stated that was a error that should not have happened.
The fact that such a high end spa would initially respond this way when an error is pointed out really bothers me.
One more issue, we weren't given time to shower or use the spa facilities before our massages. We arrived at 1150a for a 1200p appointment.
I hope things improve with management and after the remodel.

I made one appointment for July 28, 2014 @ 10am, but due to my schedule I had to cancel that appointment and reschedule for August 5th, 2014. Apparently the staff @ the Spa InterContinental scheduled me for the following day. I got a call the morning of July 29 @ 10:02am asking if I was coming in. Of course I missed the appointment due to the fact I thought my appointment was August 5th, 2014. They billed my card $120.00. I called to ask and point out the scheduling mishap, but that fell on deaf ears. They wanted to schedule another appointment, but leave me hanging for the $120.00 charge on my card which was not my fault. I looked at my email and couldn't find any confirmation email as they claimed. Either way I gave the staff at the Spa InterContinental a chance to do the honest thing. I'll ask my bank for a chargeback. I was really looking forward to spending my August morning here, but I'll never go here due to the poor customer service and lack of ethics.

I guess thus far I'll be sticking to the Beverly Grand Wilshire for my Hotel needs, the staff there knows what customer service is. Last week I called Spa InterContinental to confirm my appointment and was told that I am confirmed for August 5th, 2014. Not sure what happened with my appointment/reservation, changed accidentally or just plain fraud. The staff @ the Spa InterContinental doesn't own up to there own mistakes. I never received any email from them. Get everything in writing or some type of written verification if you do deal with them.
