Everything about this cruise fell short of what they advertised and what we expected for our birthday celebration. We were not seated together. We were crammed into 2 tables as if our party was an after thought. The noise level from the engines was so loud we could not hear each other speak. There was music playing but we could not hear it. The food was awful. The customer service was slow, indifferent and in one case insulting. We gave up on dessert and went to the top deck so that we could be together. The best part about this cruise was returning to the dock. Hornblower Dinner Cruise is an waste of time and money.
Celebrated our very special 30th wedding anniversary. It was truly Wonderful! Great Hospitality! Staff was sweet and attentive. Food was out of this world! Great, relaxing tour of the Marina with nice Jazz/Easy Listening Musician playing very romantic music. Captain of the Ship helped my disabled Husband get to our seats. Could go on and on-truly enjoyable and highly recommended!
My boyfriend surprised me with the champagne brunch cruise for my 25th birthday. Upon arriving to the boat, we were greeted by multiple people who helped make it an inviting atmosphere. When we got to our table, there were two chocolate truffles, a bottle of champagne, and we were brought out two champagne flutes to take home for my birthday. Our server Peter helped us celebrate and made this an overall wonderful experience. We had a window view from the second level of the boat and after enjoying the flowing champagne, we walked around and went onto the upper deck. The captain and other servers were all extremely friendly. The only downfall was the food. Unfortunately, we felt that for the price, the food fell a bit short. However, don't let the other negative reviews stop you from going here. Definitely loved it!
Staff was rude (Brittany) and there was very limited space. DEFINITELY NOT a place to go for a senior trip. Food however wasn't horrible.
This trip was a not only a waste of time, but a complete waste of money. The Staff was rude, party space was limited, and friends in my party were not allowed on the dance floor.. (they got kicked off for dancing). The only decent thing about this experience was the food. We were let on the boat later than they said, and were let off half an hour earlier than we were supposed to. Don't waste your money.
Expensive poor quality brunch. The simply go back and fourth in the docking area. Not very scenic. Very expensive for pre-cooked eggs. Not even an omelet bar. Not worth the money. For less money you can go to the Queen Mary brunch that is one of the top in the court try and includes a free tour of the ship.
My employer hosted a group event on a Hornblower cruise and Everything was Great from beginning to end: the Welcome, the food (we had a dessert cruise), the staff, service and the entire cruise. You will not be disappointed. I would definitely recommend, especially for a group event.
One of the best experience I've had!! Exceptional service! Phenomenal food! Great views! Very pricey but worth every penny!
The cruise was awesome, so much fun!
Adrian told us all about the different tours and sold us on going. We don't normally fall for the touristy things, but we really enjoyed it!Learned a lot and had a beautiful 1 and a half on the water!Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Amazing!! Staff was so friendly they made the experience that much better. The food was delicious and unlimited champagne! The views were amazing! Definetly a must to do while in California :). Captain Vic was fun !
We booked out the Entertainer yacht for our wedding reception in August. The staff was very helpful throughout the entire process from planning all the way to implementing on the day of. All of the staff was eager to help out and made our wedding day a beautiful day on the water.
All of our guests loved being able to celebrate on the yacht and we will recommend Hornblower to all of our friends!
