Came here on a Thursday and the crowd was what I expected. - 1 star because the place smelled like it had been cleaned with dirty water. Mom wouldn't be very happy about that.

Plenty of flat screens viewable in the main bar area. Comfortable seating outside and inside lounging area. During happy hour $4 Stella's. They don't serve food but you can bring in food. There is pizza, Sushi and Thai food within one block. A ping pong table is right at the entry area and is well lit, but the rest of the bar is all low light.

Nothing crazy but the music was terrible i know nothing about being a DJ but they need help ASAP DJs have no common sense when it comes to music this is 2017 how do you go from 50 cent Ayo Technology to some random RnB garbage then to some Coolio Gangsters Paradise? Like fo reals? Coolio? Thats when i decided to walk out music is hella Stupid and wack they need to make a change never going again..

Popped in after seeing this place every day and never stopping. We live close enough to walk so we took a stroll over to Mom's just to see what it was all about. Turned out to be a great little spot. A bit dark, but that kinda goes with their dive bar type theme. They have great drinks and a nice craft beer selection. If you're a whiskey person, they have a great selection. Crowd was a mix of young and old so its a good spot for anyone. We'll be back Mom.

This place comes to life on Friday and Saturday nights with a live DJ and affordable drinks!!!

Crowd is usually ranging from 21 - 30 with a few sprinkles cougars and mountain lions mixed and LOL

Do not come here if you're hoping to catch Sports especially Saturday College or Sunday NFL football.

Make sure you know it's karaoke night on Wednesday evenings, so if you're looking to relax with a drink and a friend be prepared for someone stringing the cat usually.

I've actually left two times with dates who agreed that the atmosphere wasn't the best for talking and romanticizing LOL ( they definitely need a ringer on those nights to keep customers buying drinks who don't want to karaoke).

The area of the place is laid out well and includes pool tables as well as a variety of cool seating areas.

Outside seating isn't luxurious, but it's a nice addition.

Not an upscale bar but not a rundown bar either. Definitely a mix of dive and Lounge that will hold up if you're looking for a happy hour or a place to hear hip-hop music on the weekends! The food could definitely be better.

Parking's not too bad even on the weekends when it's at its busiest, but those are the nights to be prepared to walk a block or two or park in the Smart & Final parking lot behind the bar.

Fun times at Mom's! Great dive bar feel. You'll often find dancing at the front with a live DJ, plenty of space for sitting in the back and throughout the bar. Comfy seats, good drinks. I recommend the Mom's Mule.

Quickly becoming my favorite cocktail bar in the city. Cozy atmosphere, trendy vibe, friendly staff. We've been here a few times and loved every drink. I prefer lighter tasting drinks (gin/vodka), so the Pin Up, Sloe Ride, Tally Ho, Harvest Moon, and Tiki Torch were perfect. My boyfriend likes whisky/bourbon based drinks, so he's had the American Gothic, Loch Ness, and Mom's. We tried their jerky once and it was really tasty. What a great combination!

While living in the Peninsula, there was a time when the only way my friends could get me to come into the city was by inviting me to Mom's. Have you ever had a rowdy karaoke time on a Sunday afternoon? You can at Mom's. The waits can be long but everyone is there to sing because the place is fun, the crowdfunds into it, and the atmosphere is awesome. If you don't want to wait, sing at home. And some people really bring it. You will be highly entertained while you wait. So, ignore the naysayers and come here for karaoke.

Great place, great prices, full bar, best pool table in the west side of L.A., the crowd is friendly and just a great environment, so many T.V'S to watch all the sport event's just all around a great place. Amazing service.

Mom's bar is a unique "dive" bar experience. The ping pong table is the best and apparently they host tournaments every once in a while. Aside from that its a casual bar.

The bald older bartender on Sunday night put fireball in my old fashioned and then denied it after 3 of my friends tasted it and agreed it was obvious. He was a jerk about it. Otherwise the bar is a typical dive with the exception of a ping pong table and small back patio.
