"Recently" renovated zoo. Beautiful grounds with one of the largest collections in the New England area. Food options on the grounds are limited. Good for a quick snack, Would recommend grabbing a real meal elsewhere.

Best privately owned business. A days worth of things to do and see, shops and very family oriented. Well cared for, knowledgeable staff attending customers and performing animal shows. Staff genuinely cares for the animals. Restrooms are maintained very well, facilities support nursing moms by providing Private rooms with rocking chairs for comfort! Price seems steep but well worth it considering all the expenses to provide such a great place for family fun! Great Job Southwick Zoo!

I am impressed with the obvious care the animals receive. Much bigger than you would expect, there is a lot to see and do there. Perfect opportunity for young kids and adults alike to have lots of fun while learning about our precious and endangered co-inhabitants on this earth. Highly recommend

This is by far the best Zoo I 've EVER been to. They have so many exotic animals to see & even interact with. Dozens of different monkey species !!! The Ski-lift ride around the park is amazing !!! Lots of Kiddie Rides & 2 Adult Rides.. Ample Parking..Wheelchair Accessible Parking & Bathrooms, an amazing restaurant, & friendly/informative staff !!! Southwick Zoo Is A MUST ATTEND PARK !!! Enjoyment For Adults & Kids !!! $25 basic admission Adult ticket. $33 unlimited rides adult ticket !!!

Very nice zoo. As someone not from the Boston area, the price came as a slight shock ($25/adult), but the zoo was definitely worth the price of admission. Lots of rare/unique animals, informative signs, staff was very knowledgeable. As a disclaimer, there isn't a flat surface in the entire complex, so if you aren't good with hills, this zoo might not be for you.

Nice small zoo. It is good for a half day visit. It's got an interesting set up, feels like it started as an animal and became a zoo because the enclosures are sort of cozy. You can bring your own food and get a stamp. To go out and eat lunch of you want which is good.

We spent about 2 hours here walking and saw most everything (got tired out!) Highly recommend coming on an off day to get the whole experience without the crowds, I appreciated that on our visit. There are so many kinds of animals and they were all pretty active. We visited the deer forest and fed them, next time I would bring a cup to hold the corn (there are machines inside too by the other entrance, if you don't want to wait). I hadn't been to the zoo in forever, so I neglected this and will advise others who haven't thought about it either: wear some bug spray!

Went to this zoo for the first time today (we usually go to Franklin park) with my fiance and my 2 daughters (2yrs old and 10 months old). It was a great zoo offered a lot of things to do for the kids and some animals u don't see at most zoos (like rhinos), only thing we didn't like was there were a lot of hornets flying around which almost stung my 2 yr old a few times so just be careful of those other than that a GREAT zoo!! We will definitely make a return trip!!!

Loved very nice piece of land it has 300 Acres of land plenty of animals to see. Have a petting zoo for kids. Kid rides. plenty wonderful stories about there animals and a 🐦 show. Bring the whole family but bring $$$ also.

Best zoo I've ever been too. Tons of happy and fun animals in a great layout. There are fun attractions and rides and things as well like a cable-car seat which travels throughout the park and a forest to feed deer. Love it here!

Took my 5 year old. Place is a bit run down but overall it's what you expect from a zoo. Lots of well cared for animals in cages. Wheelchair accessibility is good.

Took my 6 yr old niece. She loved it and was tired by the end. There's lots of walking so wear comfy supportive shoes. Tons of monkeys to see, lions, Tigers, Leopard, giraffes, zebras, etc. Interactive exhibits with deer and birds. There are small, but fun amusement rides for the kids also. Would definitely go again.

Best Zoo is not bragging they really mean it. The best deal is the $33 ride and entry price. The sky fari and the train are both $6 So if your riding these multiple times or have kids, you want to spend a little more. Our family of 3, with lunch, goat and deer food and a stuffed parrot/ shot glass combined spent $250 for the day. Totally worth the bonding time.
