Awesome experience. The guides are very knowledgeable and helpful. Animals look like they are very well cared for. And John the owner is an all around stand up guy. Definitely would like to visit again sometime!
Great interesting place to go uk
Great place to see such beautiful animals from all over the globe. Nice tour guid. He definitely educated us on things about the wildlife there that I did not know. Very interesting. Donation based. So, I suggest when you go, first, we needed to schedule a visit. They are not open to the public at random; bring your wallet. My heart goes out to the owners and the volunteers all trying to get the animals bigger enclosures. I went with a Meetup group. Was really cool, but we all need to do what we can to support endangered species.
Amazing place to take your family to visit, my kids loved this place, alot to see
The staff were very friendly and informative. Animals are well taken care of. A wonderful place to take your family to visit
Omg amazing, great people, plenty of animals and the knowledge is out of this world.
An awesome place for all ages (Young adults, Families, Children). Kowiachobee not only does rescue's but helps to teach the public about preserving our wildlife from all over the world. When visiting you are able to get up close and personal with a variety of animals while learning about their environment, lifespan, habitat, diet, and preservation. They have animals ranging from Exotics (Leopards, Cougars, Tigers, Lions, Jaguars, Monkeys) to farm and domestic (Donkeys, Horses, Miniature horses, goats, reptiles, ferrets, birds). Kowiachobee is a non profit and runs by appointments and donations. So schedule an appointment, take a tour, donate, and take away an experience of a lifetime. Plus, who doesn't want to stand just feet away from a 500 lb Tiger?
