Checked in after getting into town late. You couldn't check-in at the motel. You had to go to a different motel to check in. Rooms are badly in need of renovation. The bed was awful and had a weird smell to it. There were no curtains on the window and the blinds were not effective in blocking out the light. The lights in the parking lot were so bright that you could see well enough to read with the lights out and the blinds closed. Very disappointing experience. I don't know how this place has good reviews. I checked out early and found a better place to stay.
Nice, comfortable room, comfy bed, great location. Price was reduced due to it being a weekday. Internet did not work so well (was in the middle of building bottom floor) Wasnt there for internet anyway.
I do not have any complaints about this place at all. We stayed our first night in pigeon forge, but moved to downtown Gatlinburg for the Saturday and Sunday night. We didn't even get there till late afternoon on a Saturday, but we still got a great king size bed room, very convenient to a parking space that was in the back of the building. We didn't leave with the car too many times (because the hotel was right in the middle of downtown gatlinburg), but when we did leave in the car, it was super easy and fast to pull right out of the back entrance and zip right the back street instead of having to sit in traffic on the main road. The room was clean, the AC worked perfect, loved the ceiling fan, and the bathroom was squeaky clean as well. The bed was great, and the pillows were perfect and I was happy to find extra pillows and comfy covers in the closet. The staff was pleasant, the only time we had to see them was when we checked in and out and when we needed a couple extra towels. I recommend this hotel for sure Room 218 was our convenient little spot all weekend! :) Request it! :)
