  This park is named after my Grandfather, Richard J. Slattery. He was the park director back in 1977 until he was murdered at his Vander Veer park office on May 10 of the same year.

  It's close to my neighborhood and is a really good park . So I don't have to walk far .

  Decent disc golf course especially if you are starting out. There is a play ground for kids and some fixed charcoal grills available for use.
