Easy to get to from the I-5 freeway. Season passes start at 39.99 buy now before the new years and get a free upgrade to gold. Fun family oriented. Great food, fantastic rides. And open from 10:30-9:00 basically every day. You can check the website for daily change in hours. 2018 will be open 365 days

So much fun! Great exercise walking up and down hills. The rides are all so exhilarating ! Great live musical performances, and acrobatic shows. Very good food with a wide variety of choices at reasonable prices. Great memories.

I'm pleasantly surprised at the level of work the park has undergone as of winter 2017. I was expecting less based on past experience, but my family and I had a great time. We felt the gold passes and the meal plans we purchased were worth the money, and we're excited to return. Never thought I'd feel that way about this park, but my opinion has definitely changed.

The x2 ride was broke We been waiting for like 30 min No good Need to put mirrors on the waiting lines Ears protectors for the viper,? And batman He needs to be nicer!!!!..Maybe you can clean the park whit those water pressures thing To take all the gum out And maybe repaint some parts All everything was amazing. Love you guys

It's been years since I went to six flags but this visit was very special. They decorated really beautifully this year with Christmas lights everywhere and even a cool light display. They we're also really nice at customer service and gave us 2 fast passes instead of the 1 they promised us! Overall I really think they have stepped up their game. They had live Christmas caroling and a Christmas show. Very pretty!

I love this park. There are so many roller coasters and the views are unbelievable. Fright Fest is one of my favorite things to do in the fall, and I’m excited to experience Holiday in the Park this year as well!!
GET A SEASON PASS. You’ll have saved money by your second visit and if you come more than 3 times in a year, be sure to grab the Dining Pass too! I get lunch, dinner and a snack every day I’m there, plus a souvenir cup that I can refill for free every day that I visit. It’s fantastic.response / report this review -

It has been a while since I last went to Magic Mountain and I had a very awesome day.
There's a great selection of coasters from the classic Gold rusher to the thrilling rush of Full Throttle.
You will also find the classic Grand American Carousel, Jet Stream and Ninja all the way up to the modern day rush of reborn classics such as Twisted Colossus.
You will also find Bugs Bunny World for kids.
Please be warned that the park does look rough and worn around the edges but I certainly do hope more money is pumped in to help bring Magic Mountain back to its original glory.

This is a fun place for a few hours, so I recommend getting a season pass so you don't feel like you have to stay an entire day to get your money's worth.
The food at some locations is good, obviously over-priced--it's a theme park, what can you do? Food lines seem to move at iceberg pace in many locations, so maybe they need a more streamlined food-prep situation or something.
Their rides are well-maintained so you feel safe, park cleanliness in general is adequate, though there is a bit of graffiti in some places. The employees are mostly high schoolers but are respectful and generally do their jobs adequately.
Parking is a bit of a bear, but they do have a tram that goes along the outside so you don't HAVE to walk half a mile before you even get into the park, if you don't mind waiting in yet another line.
Lines, lines, and more lines! Go with someone whose company you truly enjoy, because you're going to get a lot of it.response / report this review -

Love Six Flags! Gotta get the season pass if you go more than once. At the beginning of the season, its the same as a day pass. If you do during school, there's no one there. Workers are okay. I've been given grief a couple of times but whatever. I get over it. For the most part, its always a lot of fun!

MORE THAN 2 WEEKS AGO I PURCHASED TWO SEASON FLASH PASSES AND REQUESTED THEY BE MAILED TO MY HOME ADDRESS. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEM AND HAVE LEFT TWO DIFFERENT EMAILS REQUESTING SOME ASSISTANCE TO ONLY BE IGNORED. AS FOR CALLING THE PHONE NUMBERS PROVIDED I AM ADVISED AT EVERY PROMPT PRESSED THAT I MUST GO THROUGH THE WEBSITE TO RESOLVE MY ISSUES. WHY EVEN HAVE A PHONE NUMBER IF THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY OF REACHING A LIVE PERSON?! VERY DISAPPOINTED AS MY DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY IS FAST APPROACHING AND I DO NOT HAVE TICKETS TO GIVE HER FOR HER BIRTHDAY WHICH WE PLANNED ON SPENDING AT THE PARK.

A lot of great rides, but some of them would close and reopen throughout the day. It's helpful to download the app onto your phone to keep you updated. Wait times on there are mostly accurate, but some of them were very very wrong. No outside food or drinks allowed, so eat before you get there because food is crazy expensive.

If you like thrill rides, this place is AMAZING. Six Flags Magic Mountain is a metal garden of world class roller coasters. I am lucky to call this my home park. Endless world record coasters. The lines are horrendous but the flash pass program is worth the extra fee. You can ride all of the rides you want if you have a flash pass or get lucky and go on the rare quiet day. This park is not much to look at. They don't try very hard to make it pretty. Who needs fluff when you have the best rides.

Better priced than other California amusement parks. Unfortunately, shorter hours than competitors and lacks entertainment options outside of roller coasters (like fireworks or parades). Have great dining options and offer a wide variety of roller coasters. They do not seem to get as busy as often as other amusement parks I only waited more than 20 minutes once this last time. I wish they had more technology support like a reliable app that provides wait times and such. They have an app for Apple products but not one for Android products. The wait times listed on the app don't seem to be very accurate.

I love Six Flags! They have so many rides for the little ones, all in one spot. Like you don't have to be walking miles to get to the other ride which is cool for us older parents.The Staff is great! The food is great! AND THE RIDES ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD.💙

Like every theme park visitor should know already: plan ahead. For people who charge in, expecting amazing service, prices, and running out at the end of the day fulfilled, good luck with that. Knowing where to go, what to do, and how to do it is extremely important. For a first time visit, pay extra for a basic Flash Pass. It's so very worth it. No need to pay way too much to get to rides ultra fast: as long as it's not very busy (go on a Wednesday, good park tip), a normal Flash Pass will be worth every dollar. Also, the food is pretty expensive, and lots of candy to waste money on. Bring your own lunch, sunscreen, and other basic necessities to store in an all-day locker for rent, or in a backpack (it's worth walking around with all your stuff through the entrance security). Basically, be smart, be prepared, and know what you're doing. That's when the real fun starts.
