Long Due Review ! I have been going to this place since almost 4 years and I absolutely love the food every single time. Non pretentious, simple place with flavorful food that you cant get enough of even in 4 years :D
I drag all my favorite people here !
This place and it's food make me happy :)
Don't believe me.. just believe that sometimes all of us need food therapy ;)
I really love this place for a quick, easy fully vegan meal! There is lots of different really delicious choices they also have all kinds of vegetarian options, amazing bakery items and desserts! the service is usually really good and attentive, the food is awesome (try the cheesecake!) And it's pretty inexpensive, certainly not the fanciest place around, but it serves really really good comfort food!
this absolutely the best vegan Asian food in San Diego and am a frequent visitor, by myself or otherwise.
however, by sheer misfortune or lack of training/skill, my girlfriend and I have had several bad experiences with the customer service here.
I am sorry to say that we will not be coming back.
but maybe I will. but definitely not as often.
P.S.
the coconut cake is the best coconut cake I've ever had.
ever.
Very delicious and nutritious. I really like the sweet and sour tofu with vegetables. The picture is of the Mongolian "beef" dish.
Amazing! I had some of the most delicious vegan food I've ever eaten at Sipz! Try starting with the BBQ "Chicken" appetizerunbelievable how much it tastes and looks like chicken! I will definitely be back whenever I'm in the area
This is hands-down my new favorite place so many amazing dishes so many healthy options vegan vegetarian and gluten-free. The menu itself is 16 pages long but don't let that scare you they have sushi happy hour kids menu family menu and their favorite suggestions to help you out save room there deserts are off the hook. Thank you for respecting food so deliciously❣🕉
This place is absolutely amazing!! Seriously. From the owner to the staff to the food. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! i eat here almost every day. Its filling, flavorful and ALL vegan! How could anyone go wrong eating here? 🤗 (they even have dessert!)
Great option for vegetarian food. The flavors are spot on! However I don't really like their mock meat and some dishes have a lot of oils. Other than that, I love the plentiful veggies. All the veggies are fresh. All the fusion of Asian food is cool. Get a soup to share!
Good fusion vegan food. Mock meat available, mostly tofu based. Priced Right. High oil content in few dishes.
Oh gosh I love this place. So nice to have my favorite foods made into vegetarian dishes. I only wish I lived closer! Seriously go here - even if you aren't strictly vegetarian. It seems really vegan friendly too, and they are willing to customize dishes for you. Personally, I asked for more than double the spicy scale they have there, and it was SO good. Take out is very fast as well
I guess for the chef it's really hard to remember that only one person at the table wanted a mild dish. I ordered a very mild Curry and everyone else at my table ordered very very spicy. My food was replaced by the same dish but this time the eggplant was undercooked so I had the trade heat for raw. I'm sure if I go back happen again I just have to be very clear that I want to enjoy the flavors and I'm not in a hurry I'll wait for my food to be done before you serve it
My favorite vegan restaurant for the past 13 years. I love everything I've had on the menu which is almost everything. The staff is happy, and kind. The owner is very nice and greets me with a smile. If you want a great value for the best vegan/vegetarian Asian dishes, you gotta try sips Claremont! My favorite is the drunken noodle with "chicken".
Sipz has some of my favorite Chinese vegetarian food in the world. I would double down on 2 lunch specials. I have been here with friends. The food tastes even better than the photos. Probably it is best to look at other tables to see what looks good. I want to try the Chinese vegan chicken salad. The place gets busy but not as busy as the North Park location where some waiting for a table can be involved. I think the portions are slightly larger at the Clairemont Mesa location.
