I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The service is impeccable. Even the house staff knew my name and wished me well each day. They went out of their way to accommodate me and any concern i had, like switching rooms on the first night due to loud neighbor. Location is great and the rooms are very comfortable. Will definitely stay again!
Great location, it's close to walk to all the major sites! Staff is friendly. Room is clean & nice. It's a little smaller than I have stayed in before, but it's still comfortable. Wish they had a frige & microwave. The bedding is just a sheet, no blankets. I'm here during winter a blanket would've been nice.
If I could give this hotel a zero rating, I would. My company used a meeting space at this hotel early 2017. We have a credit that we would like to use this year. I have been bounced around from person to person and nobody seems to have the answers and nobody is willing to help. It feels as though if you're not spending money at this hotel and they owe you a credit, they are very unwilling to help. Take your business elsewhere if you're smart.
Looking great from the lobby. Lobby staff is very nice. But the smell of the bathroom ( Urine) is disgusting. I don't had the time to change rooms because I just have to sleep and get ready for next day conference. Beds are comfortable. Access to the major attraction in NY City also great.
This is a great hotel. It is very well located between time square and central park. Club rooms have separate elevators which makes it easy to get to your room. The rooms are clean but quite outdated, although the hotel is going through room renovations. I can't wait to come back once it's done.
My room is very nice and clean. The fitness center was actually pretty nice and had free weights and a squat rack (!!). My floor has been really quiet even though I'm basically right next to the elevators and ice room. My only complaint is that the snacks are expensive, but I can just walk down the street and get them wherever.
Good hotel, lack of personal interaction. However the bar was good and the gentleman who served us was great. The little shop was very good. We bought a solar charger for my mobile phone, but it didn't work. We misplaced the receipt. The Manager kept the charger and tried the other one left in the rack. 2 hours later, when my husband went to check, he said both the chargers were faulty, found out our purchase receipt from his till report and gave a full refund. He thanked us to get back to him as it saved another potential buyer from buying a faulty charger. He is an asset to the hotel shop.
Great location. Realized I didn't get the room type requested, but didn't want to wait in line again for resolution. Asked to not have room cleaned daily, but they entered and cleaned anyway. From our floor, just faint NYC traffic noise. Elevators are fast and efficient, as you enter floor when calling it. We did not do the wireless key via mobile device. Used issued wireless key cards. Got 3 and 1 never worked. Room is nothing special, but fine for the price. I would stay here again as long as prices weren't outrageous.
What a great welcome! Nicole could not have been more gracious. The Sheraton should be proud to have such an exemplary team member! The bar has been set high for the remainder of our stay! Thanks Nicole!
-Location is ideal
-Room very spacious of Manhattan standards
-Best value for a national recognized luxury hotel
What more could we ask for!
Booked two rooms for my family. Everyone is very happy with the stay. Staff is very friendly and always available. The rooms were in the top notch condition. Great decor everywhere. All amenities up-to-date and good order.
This hotel used to offer nice service. But no longer. They charged early check in fee if you check in before 3:00pm that is $30. So you have to think extra pay if you want to check in before 3:00 pm.
And they never inform us before arrival they will charge early check in fee even I already requested that.
And 4 days later they charged again small money 4.42 to my credit card. They explain this is tax.
But I am wondering why they charged later.
Anyhow they like to charge to credit card so we should be careful even after check out they will charge som how fee.
And they said they gave me upgrade room. But it is just normal room Nothing upgrade.
Location is very good but I will never come back here again when I stay in NY.
Always a pleasurable experience with The Sheraton of New York! I stayed at this hotel on my very first visit to NYC, approximately 25 years ago. I must say I am never disappointed. My most recent stay still leaves me with the same sentiment. If you are looking for a very pleasurable stay and to be treated like royalty, I highly recommend this hotel. The location is superb, the rooms are impeccable, and the staff is great!!! So what are you waiting for, why have you not made your reservations? Oh by the way , although all the staff are great there, you must say hello to
Mrs. Joy Clark if she is available during your stay. She is a jewel and an epitome of what the Sheraton exhibits in excellency. She is truly a joy!
Can not wait until my birthday to visit again. Sheraton of New York Times Square you are the BEST!
Fantastic location, very comfortable beds, and a really nice VIP lounge overlooking the city upstairs. Staff were also great, very helpful with directions and understanding the metro! The gym was also pretty well-equipped for a hotel, I was impressed. I truly enjoyed my stay here (Dec 2014). Thank you :)
The Sheraton is a nice hotel, great location. A bit pricey but Midtown is Midtown. Was here for several nights for a college conference and conference rooms were well-equipped. Staff was incredibly rude when we asked for a change of bedsheets. Elevators are nightmarish during peak hours. Lots of great food nearby. Considering the fact that they were dealing with an unusually large amount of college students, I think the Sheraton did a good job of accommodating us all.
This is a charming boutique hotel that, once inside its doors, will make you think you are in a guest hotel in the English countryside rather than 1/4 block off Times Square. The service is friendly and attentive, the rooms well appointed and quiet. Another highlight is Rick's Lounge that serves a nice continental breakfast, wine and cheese in the evening, and has coffees and snacks 24/7. It's a great place to relax before heading out to eat or caching a show. Treat yourself to a great experience.
