Very conveniently located in town. It is so close to all of the shops and amenities, but it is also very quiet. A perfect retreat away from the rat race of everyday life.
The Figure 8 pool is gorgeous at the center of the complex. You never have to worry about that pool getting too busy because there are two other pools with spas around the complex too.
The grounds are well manicured and the people are friendly.response / report this review -

Nice location, close to fine dining and shopping. Cozy rooms where you can put your feet up and enjoy good wine found in the lobby! With great views!

What a great find. Can't say enough good things about this place. Location is awesome. The main pool will blow you away. 150ft long 360,000 gallons of water 394 people capacity. They also have many smalker pools. Many different sizes of rooms. Great prices. Top notch tennis facilities and very nice golf course. Sorry it took me so long find this place

I own a condo in the HOA this resort manages and rents from, and all I can say is "What A Dump." Too much on the downside to state it all. Owned, run, and managed by a community of slumlords. Stay elsewhere, buy elsewhere. Nothing but a low-end motel with a big pool and tennis courts. Don't let the facade fool you, it is a horror on every level. That's my experience, and I own a condo here. And I personally do not welcome renters here that make the place even worse. So I would appreciate it if you would rent a condo someplace else.

I have been to Shadow Mountain Resort at least 5 times. Each time I have stayed there I have had a wonderful time. The people at the front desk are very pleasant and knowledgeable, the restaurant ladies above the Pro shop make you feel at home. The condos are very spacious and have everything you need. Our air conditioning wasn't working when we arrived so I called the front desk and in 5 minutes a guy came with a fuse and fixed it. I love the big pool and jacuzzi and every night we are able to walk to some really good restaurants. I will be playing a trip again to stay there soon.

Loved this place. The condo we stayed in was beautiful and had everything we needed and then some. Staff was amazing and the grounds were beautiful!

The resort is a little older but we'll maintained. There are several types and sizes of housing to accommodate a variety of size groups. This is our 6th year back for our annual girls trip and we love it!

Very professional service, clean, quiet, good for kids . I really enjoy stay in Shadow Mountain , coming again end of the month and have already reserve in August. Chris and all stuff very friendly. Recommend for my friends and family they did visit it with me and love it, and yes they are coming again and again :)))). see you soon ( 2 weeks) LOVE IT ;)

Shadow mountain is a great tennis resort with both hard court and clay tennis courts. The condos are nice, but small and some are not aging very well. Make sure you know which unit you are getting.

Last minute booking requested top floor ended up getting early check-in, very rare anywhere, wife and I attempt everywhere we go. Got a ADA room which took some getting used to but was fine. Everyone working there very pleasant and helpful. Stayed in building 4 with great view of pool and mountains. Golfed 2 days and 1 day thunder and lighting and next 88 and perfect.

Rooms are condos owned individually. Not a traditional hotel/resort. Friendly. Clean. Manicured landscaping. Modern furnishings. Close to restaurants and shopping. Big pool. Quiet. Nice.
