Big time prices for lift tickets, than they make snow everyday during skiing hours to the point you cant see 3 ft in front of you. for 1/2 the way down most slopes. This place is great when they have all slopes open but when you go 3 diffrent times and cant see when you get of the lift to go down any of the slopes its not worth the money or time. Ski report is not accurate. Update charges 90$ for a lift ticket for only 1/4 of the mountain being open. Rip off
It's a beautiful place. Took my son there for a Christmas event and wasn't disappointed. They just installed new snow machines that are definitely worth their weight in gold. It hasn't snowed much in the area but you couldn't tell with those machines. Has a bunch of retail stores inside and good restaurants. To me, it's reminiscent of a ski resort in Colorado.
We went here to do the sporting clays. We had a great time shooting although I am not very good. They had good trappers and good equipment. The best part of the day is always the barbeque dinner at the clubhouse. The cocktails are also really well done. The Laurel highlands are breathtaking in the fall.
There were many things to do even with no snow. There was an Alpine slide, mountain bike rides, a hay ride, rock climbing, a children's maze and many craft and food vendors. Also there were live bands through out the venue continuously. If you ever go there on a Friday, be sure to get the sea food buffet. It's the best you will ever have,
My 13 yr old son and I went to the Seven Springs downhill bike park for the first time. We had a good time and would be willing to return if it wasn't so expensive. It was $340 for the two of us for a day which included full day lift passes, rental bikes, rental helmets, and rental knee/shin guards. The signage was also lacking for bike related activities. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked direct questions but didn't offer up any unsolicited advice to us even though they knew we had never been there before. Personally carrying bikes on the lift was difficult and very unsettling at first.
I would say the trails were generally well laid out and fun. There was a good mixture of flowy and technical obstacles. Most of the big obstacles had options to ride around them although it wasn't always clear how. There were some unmarked surprises that could have been trouble (green trail rerouted onto a blue and a black diamond trail with what should have been a double black drop in).
I could see how this place would be much better if we were season pass holders with our own bikes and gear. However, as a first experience and renters it left a lot to be desired in terms of value, ease of use, and safety.
Great country atmosphere! Went to Autumn Fest and had a great time. Restaurants to pick just about any cuisine you desire. Coffee shoppe. Live entertainment. Plenty of novelty shops. Indoor swimming pool. Bowling lanes and huge game room filled with lots of video games with skee ball and several other carnival games to win tickets to cash in for various prizes. Also an indoor miniature golf course. How's that for fun with your kids or special someone!!! Hotel accommodations, should you stay for a romantic weekend. Lots of good skiing when weather permits. Overall, just lots of activities all year round and live entertainment.
This is a great resort to stay and visit all year round. It's a popular winter destination, but we love it in summer too.
The location is huge and just engulfed in nature - cannot get enough of it. We usually stay in the villas up the mountain - which are great for family and friends. There are plenty of lakes a little ponds all over.
We had our event catered by the resort who took great care of us and the catered banquet was superb.
Tons of outdoor activities to choose from - organized ones or just go for a hike in the wilderness.
While you're there (in summer), try the Alpine slide or the zip lining - both the short and long versions are great.
So much fun here. The new owners have put some money back in to this place and you can tell. Fun weekend getaway just to get a bite to eat. The game room, although for kids, can be an awesome past time for adults too. Love feeding the trout and just checking out what's going on. Lots of fun when there is an event going on.
I did the Mud On The Mountain 2017 race again this year and Seven Springs is always a great place to visit. So much to do! Always a great experience!
Always a fun time for being local to Pittsburgh. They have a good variety of runs and features and plenty of lifts when they're all up and running. Rental prices are a bit steep but its standard. I typically rent outside the mountain.
I was there for a conference which was probably very hectic. I wish there had been more staff available to help direct us but the housekeepers were fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing and all the amenities were wonderful. A great place to go and relax/have a good time. Glad I purchased a souvenir!
Great ski resort. So beautiful inside. Alot of things to do up there. An awesome pizza place inside. Very warm & cozy inside the lodge. Great tubing hills. Nothing negative to say!
Great vacation! The slopes were awesome and the price was perfect! I really enjoyed my winter vacation with my girlfriend, and everything said and done had a wonderful long weekend getaway for less than $1,000. Staff were courteous but could have been more knowledgeable, however a misunderstanding about the package I purchased resulted in a $100 credit to my bill.
It was wonderfully romantic and I am already looking forward to next year!
