Always the best fine dining the only thing better would be a new Jeep from Kuntz Chrysler Jeep Ram. Love this restaurant.
My meal was excellent, service was good. Only thing is they failed to clean off the salad and appetizer dishes before they brought the meal. We had six people at the table we had a lot of dishes. They tried to cram our dinner dishes in with what was already there. But it was taken care of immediately . Looking forward to my next visit.
A clean and well lit Resturante. Good service good food, we all had a great lunch.
Beautiful with great ambiance. The sashimi was melt in your mouth delicious! Awesome!
By far the best Chinese food I have had! Variety of options! Wonderful service go to for big party’s or events.
So far I've been there twice for lunch & it's been pretty great. Service was fast & prompt & food has been delicious. The owner, Jimmy, has a great staff. I can see why the place has been successful for a long time. Keep it up guys!
From the outside (and the inside), this looks like a very expensive place. It's actually not. Lunch here is only a few dollars more than the smaller Chinese place up the road (dinner is pricier), and it's much better. The staff is great, the atmosphere is very good, and it's quiet enough to have a useful lunchtime discussion.
Really good food. Priced accordingly. J.Ws is clean and appointed modern in design. The sushi bar is small and the view of sushi chief is obstructed. The sushi selection is limited the night we visited but all was very good. I would always prefer when at the sushi bar in front of the chef to see the food prep it adds to the experience in my opinion. In my conclusion, J. W.s emphasis is not a true sushi bar experience. Every thing we ordered was handled by the waiter.
Ordered delivery from them for sushi and wonton soup$40.00 no problembut no one ever told me the sushi is nickle sized and the large wonton soup only had two wontonscalled to complain and was told I can always order more food.smhwowI would have done better getting it from a local grocery store and saved money!!!
Not sure about the below reviews but I go there about twice a month and have never had anything but good food and good service. Note that i go there to eat the specialty sushi rolls which are phenomenal. Their other food (ex. mongolian beef, black pepper chicken, kung pao, general tsos etc.) is better than 95% of other chinese restaurants but not nearly as good as their sushi.
As for people complaining about the price you know how much it costs before you go if you are not ready to spend $25 on an entree applebees is across the street.
As far as 'traditional' Asian-American, the food is good, although you can get the same quality (although a larger quantity) at other establishments in the area at a much better price. One menu item that Jimmy Wan should be utterly ashamed of the anemic sushi that they serve set at outrageous prices. Their sushi could only be described as 'New York style' - incredibly small pieces at very big prices. For any of their platters ranging from $20 to $36 you get very little bang for your buck as sad presentation mixes with pathetic portions. Jimmy Wan needs to take a trip to Sushi Kim in Pittsburgh to see how a true sushi artist satisfies his customers as presentation and price creates a new benchmark that Jimmy Wan fails to achieve in overwhelming numbers. If you like sushi, skip Jimmy Wan's - there are bigger and better fish in the sea.
I've found their food to be either really good (when it's good, it's great) or really bad (burnt tasting chicken) - over the past year it's been a coin flip what you're getting.
The deal breaker for me - they now charge a 15% delivery fee for "out of area" deliveries (suddenly, after 2 years, our home is now considered "out of area").
Jimmy - you have lost a customer that ordered 2x/month from you - All over a silly - nickle and dime - policy? Additionally, if this is how you treat the delivery, I'll avoid the business altogether (not just delivery).
It sucks - I wanna love this place!
Had reservations. They crammed 6 of us into a small booth made for 4 people. Bad experience feel like I just got out of jail.
