Delicious vegetarian and vegan restaurant with so many options. Love their drinks and desserts too. In summer they have outdoor seating but they also have ample indoor room. Have brought many friends here who are not vegetarian and they have loved it.
Menu does change seasonally but they also have constant favorites.

I've loved Seva since I first visited the Ann Arbor location (I think the original location?) in high school, many years before going vegan--I wasn't even vegetarian then, but counted it among my favorite restaurants. Went to the Detroit location for the first time and it was great! The General Tso's cauliflower wasn't QUITE as good as I remember from previous visits at other locations, but it was still delicious. Perhaps slightly more tangy or vinegary. But that's fine in my book.

I got there quite late (within 45 minutes of close), and I always feel awful about doing that as someone who has worked in the service industry. But I am from out of town and there weren't many vegan food options still open around 10 pm before the drive back home. So, I went, despite feeling bad about it. The staff was still very nice and the person hosting was unusually nice and understanding, even though I would understand being annoyed at any customers who decide to show up within an hour of close. Thanks for being welcoming!

The great variety of food and drink and everything was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and it's a really laid-back atmosphere. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

I am pleasantly surprised. I'm definitely a carnivore so a vegetarian restaurant isn't my thing. Everything was amazing! The burger had a great texture that didn't taste like ground up veggies. The sweet potato fries with aioli were absolutely addictive. The drinks were fantastic and the bartender was so nice. Just look out for the sink hole in the parking lot.

The food was served cold it was a hot sandwich and yam fries. Would have told server but they never came back, even to bring the bill. The sandwich was supposed to have coconut coleslaw but it was just some cabbage thrown on the sandwich. They also waited until they sat us to clean the table and noticed the same with the people that they seated after us. The consistency for food doesn't seem to be the same I've been there before and had this sandwich and it was fantastic.

Love love love it here. Not always the fastest service, but always worth it. Happy hour is awesome and so is the general TSO style cauliflower. Love the fresh, quality ingredients and always changing specials menu! My go to veggie restaurant, I love Seva

Great vegetarian and vegan food!! Slow to get a bill.
We come here quite a bit as they are one of the the best vegetarian restaurants around. Great food but slow service. I’ve been here dozens of times and it’s always a pain to get the bill. They clear the table and then I wait another 10 minute or more to be given the opportunity o pay for my meal.

Vegetarian options for all tastes and palates. Reasonably priced with a broad menu to choose from. Nice outdoor seating for the warmer months, and a great spacious atmosphere in either of the indoor seating areas. Happy hour drink and food specials. Nice proximity to all of Midtown and Downtown's attractions. Plus the Q-Line stops a block away!

Great food, especially for a vegan place. The service does seem a bit better than thou, but it's probably due to me ordering an egg with my Pad Thai

Great Pad Thai though It didn't even need the egg. If I'd of known before I ordered, I could have flown under the radar. Maybe even get those vegan superpowers I keep hearing about.

Really great food! All vegetarian with plenty of vegan options. Patio seating is great, though you may be bothered by bees, squirrels, or flies. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The staff seemed a bit stressed and overworked, though it didn't help that several groups of customers were abruptly moving tables and making persnickety requests. Wait time was a bit long, but the food was delicious once it arrived. The Seva Club is a mouthwatering sandwich, and the vegan Blue Moon ice cream from Ice Cream Plant is a fantastic way to end your meal!

We were visiting Detroit and found Seva online. We got take out but the restaurant, the area and the food was great and I hope we have the chance to return. Our kids loved their meals as well.

Seva is probably my favorite restaurant in the area! The food is always both inventive and delicious. When I've brought others here, they've also been impressed, vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores alike.

I love Seva, especially the one in Ann Arbor (still there?). The food is delicious but I went with a big group and our waiter was so rude. He refused to split the bill at all saying he didn't know how. It was also really freezing and we asked multiple people if they could turn up the heat. They said no. I wish our waiter had been less curmudgeonly. It would have been a wonderful experience.

Happy to find a vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options but it was not so great for us. The general Tso's Cauliflower appetizer was a little under-sauced, but good. My husband said his Mac and cheese was dry and way too big. My Pad Thai needed about twice as many noodles to soak up some of the sauce it was swimming in, but as it was very salty and very oily I could only eat about half of the modest portion. I wanted so bad to like this place!

Vegetarian, good burgers you'll never know the difference between soy/tofu and beef as well as the dayon cheese . Sweet potatoes fries and chutney ,excellent . Chocolate milk shake made from coconut milk totally delicious and filling . Carrot cake is to die for icing and full of flavor. It's hard to find. You have to go up the alley at John R and Forest across from Veterans Hospital. It has a good following. There is also a beverage lust of ales, wines and hard cider.
