We enjoy the casino at MGM Grand, it looks and feels more like a Vegas casino than the others in the area. There's an excellent variety of slot machines and games. The staff is polite and attentive.

What a fabulous time I had at MGM Grand. My co-workers and I ate at Palette restaurant where Julie and her team were incredibly professional, friendly, and awesome. What a dynamic time we had. We will be returning and will tell all of our family and friends about our fantastic experience here at MGM Grand. 👍

I have been going to this casino for years, but had never spent the night. I finally did last night, and I was so impressed! Everybody was so professional and friendly. From the valet guys, to the reception desk, to the doorman, the room service guy. Everyone just so professional and friendly. Somebody sure knows how to run a business!

Top quality hotel.. Very good service. However some restaurants not so good. Namely the buffet. Wednesday night's they used to have snow crabs now they have changed to a cheaper crab, disappointing. Also Tap"s not so good also. However the Steak house very good. Can not comment on the v club.

We stayed for two nights and we found the rooms to be very upscale. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and organized. If I had to nitpick anything, the website said there was free coffee in the lounge area but we couldn't find any. Other than that, we have no complaints about our stay.

Huge variety of games and an amazing buffet. We had a good time even though we lost. The bathrooms are sometimes dirty. Hotel is clean and modern.

PLEASE READ THIS POST BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO EAT AT BREEZE RESTAURANT AT MGM GRAND DETROIT
A Chinese CHEF made foods for couple customers, he dropped food on the floor then pick it up then placed it back to the bow and gave to customers. He was caught up by me and other guests. We decided to report it to the cashier and she came to talk to him , he admitted it.
We told them to throw these foods away and made a new one for customers. I do not know how many times he has been doing like it.
This big casino but hiring the Cookers who do a dirty works. It post a health risk to all customers. I do not how many people have eaten those foods that he prepared for them. It may kill you .
Imagine how dirty the floor is , virus can kill you .
STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT !! TO PROTECT YOURSELF. FROM BEING SICK . AND UNHEALTHYresponse / report this review -

Incredible room - although I was familiar with the brand having stayed at properties in Las Vegas and Mississippi, this particular MGM Grand really lives up to the name. My only disappointment is that food is not available 24/7. The pool - Spa is adult only and more along the lines of a grotto than a typical outdoor pool would be. It was fantastic to be able to shed some of the stress of being a hurricane evacuee for Irma with time in the pool and hot tub. The staff was fantastic from the Bell staff greeting to the front desk to security and especially the concierge function. It may be my first time, but it won't be my last.

We went to try Pallette. The food was decent. Some things were really good (Maurice Salad). Others were lacking (raw oysters). The service was excellent and attentive. I went during the seafood night on Wednesday. They never ran out of crab legs or shrimp like some places will. My wife and I dined for a little over $100. Personally, I feel this is a little steep for what is offered. In that price range down the street at one of the trendiest restaurants in town, we could have had a 6 course small plate meal prepared for us based our preferences and tastes. This really should been a $60-75 bill.

We went here for part of a friend's bachelor party. Had a great time. The bartenders and gaming staff were very friendly and respectful. The atmosphere was very upbeat and it didn't just feel like a dingy casino. We won some money playing blackjack even though the minimum hand was a little more than we were expecting. The only real downside was that they gave last call at like 1:15 which we found very odd

Disappointed in the quality of the food, seems to have gone down a bit. Also, too much smoke. There is a nice little spot that has smoke free gambling. It the machines are old. The staff was top notch. We had fantastic bartender named Brian Ringuette who made wonderful drinks and provides excellent customer service.

Great place to spend a night out. I wish the food court had better choices. The new addition of the Coney island seems to offer less for more money. I'd like to eat there but find myself looking elsewhere for a late night bite.

Amazing staff, customer service, food and high quality is kept in every aspect of the hotel resort. I just had a wedding reception here and was one of the best experiences of my life! All of our guests said the same

The hotel is AWESOME. I definitely feel it was worth the money even though I booked at a lower rate I would pay the normal rate to experience this hotel and casino again. The valet staff was quick and courteous. The hotel let us check in early and even though I didn't win any money in the casino the comp services made up for that. The room, the pool, and the spa allllllllll AMAZING. Thank you MGM for an amazing weekend.

The room was amazing.. great view of the city, bed was comfortable. And the shower is AMAZING. No complaints about anything. The valet was exceptional and the hotel staff is friendly. Highly recommend staying here
