Absolutely loved my visit here. It's one of the few places in Detroit that still has that historical vibe. I really hope this place never goes away. the staff was very kind and helpful as they did all they could for me when I thought to have lost my wallet. I will always look for events going on here just to visit it again.

I love the Fillmore, one of the better places to go see a show. The tickets are usually cheap, and the drink prices aren't too bad either. It's small enough to get a good view anywhere in the house, but large enough to attract some big name bands. If you ever decide to splurge for a VIP ticket, they have seats for you and you have a private server to bring your drinks.

Ahh the Fillmore This is definitely my favorite venue downtown. They bring in great artists and I love the fact that the whole downstairs area is GA. As far as venue's go I would call it medium-small, definitely a more intimate venue. Even if you get in late, you can get up pretty close to the stage. Overall, the Fillmore has a great vibe and I haven't been to a bad show there yet. The drinks are reasonable considering it's a concert venue and there are like 3-4 bars downstairs. I usually end up at Park Bar around the corner to grab a few drinks before the show.

The venue is great overall, but it seems they have tried to be a little too economical with the space, particularly with the seating in the upper area. Prepare to have no leg room if you're in the higher seats.

For as big of a venue as it is it didn't seem like it should have been such a big deal. The sections were obviously crammed together as each row in LOGE 1-4 is 11 seats wide rather than a more standard 10. Although compared to how closely the rows are packed together it's hardly worth mentioning the one extra seat.

I can only speak for the men's room, but in the upper area (noticing a pattern?) the urinals are packed tight enough that you have to be shoulder to shoulder to take a piss. That is, if you don't smack your head on the ceiling. If you're six feet tall or up watch your head. You will smack it on the ceiling if you're not watching out.

While the staff is good and I've never had a major complaint the comfort of your customers should be of some importance. It feels like they stopped caring once they got to the cheapest seats in the house which is nothing short of infuriating. I shouldn't feel like I haven't paid enough to be afforded some basic degree of comfort, especially if I'm going to be spending possibly hours in that seat.

I almost wanted to rate it a 4 star, but I realised that much of the staff I see is event management/security from an outside company, not the Filmore. The building is clean and well maintained, but I suppose the fact that that's the best praise I have should say something.

Was here for an our lady peace show and are they amazing. They were so accommodating and wonderful. Nacho and Jeff were staff near the stage. They were funny and wonderful. Made sure that everyone was doing what they were supposed to while also keeping the mood light. I had the pleasure of meeting a VIP coordinator who helped me to where I could safely watch the show (I have a broken foot). The whole staff was friendly. I was so shocked. I have never been to such a friendly venue before.

Great venue but the bathrooms were tiny and disgusting. Overall a good experience though. Seating is great, no matter how far back you are you have a good view of the stage.

Definitely a great place to see your favorite bands. If you don't like the crowds that arenas draw, or the limitations of bar-like venues, this place is great for you. It's similar to The Fox Theatre, but you don't have to worry about finding seats on the main floor!

Amazing staff at the Filmore. One of our party had a crippling fear of heights and was having trouble getting to her seat. The staff recognized this and accommodated us by taking us down to a special section on ground floor.

They kind woman who helped us (didn't catch your name sorry!) Got her a bottle of water for free and told her stories of other guests that had similar problems to make her feel better on the way to the new seat.

I've never seen such amazing service like this and really appreciated it. Thank you!

Absolutely love the interior decor. Went here for a deadmau5 concert and upper balcony shook a bit but it was still as awesome experience but the bathrooms definitely need a lot of attention.

Besides the absolutely horrid and terribly expensive parking situation, the Fillmore is an excellent concert venue. Security is tight but in all the best ways that leave you comfortable in knowing you're in a safe environment. The seating was maybe a little cramped for a sold out show but once everyone was standing it was perfect. The sound was incredible and the stage was massive enough for all the audio/visuals needed. Plenty of drink stations and a well placed merch booth lead to minimal bottle-necked walking. I've seen many concerts here from EDM to rap to hardcore, this venue is great for it all.

I was at the Filmore Detroit for the 89X dirty little Valentine concert with the Dirty Heads and could not have been more impressed with the facility and staff with how welcoming they were with myself and service dog. They were constantly making sure I was comfortable. They were very understanding of myself and current situation and I could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you so much Filmore staff! I can't wait to come back!

I went to see Luka Graham on a Tuesday night first the concert was amazing. The open standing area allowed you to choose to stand in the front to experience the band, or sit up in the mezzanine to see everything from a bird's eye view. Thanks to the smaller size of the venue, no matter where you are, your view is Great! it's also big enough to fit many people. Security was good, and so we're the drinks. 5/5 highly recommend.
