This place was full of rambunctious youth hockey turds, and I am fairly sure that the front desk actually asked their parents (politely) to get them under control!! I am also fairly sure that the parents had never experienced anything like it before. This hotel is okay in my book! They also have a sauna, a pool, clean rooms, and awesome front desk agents. (Hockey parents take note: Your kids are not special.)

I thought this place was great until trying to check in this morning. I travel to Marquette with my significant other for business, and we had been staying there often, sometimes once or twice a week, since August. Today, the front desk attendant would not allow me to check in early (8:30 is apparently too early, I was told), although there were only a handful of vehicles in the parking lot and I had checked in that early, or even earlier, on numerous occasions. No real reason was given, such as a room wasn't available. (And if that were the case, completely understandable.) I had my dog with me, and would have really hated to drive around until 3:00 with him, but that didn't seem to make much difference to the employee. I went elsewhere, and they promptly checked me in without an issue. If you're in the business of hospitality, you should at least try to be accommodating. (A little bit goes a long way, especially when your destination becomes your home-away-from-home.) Sorry to say, you guys have lost a repeat customer.

Nice and clean hotel. The rooms have 55" TV unlike any other hotels.. Staff was really helpful..

The Settle Inn is a nice clean hotel. It's nothing spectacular or anything but it had very clean rooms and the rates were pretty good. I'll give this place a a 4 just for the cleanliness and the value alone. You can't find clean, and good smelling rooms anymore as cheap as this place was.

Right next to a decent restaurant and a grocery store w/ liquor. Pool water was too cold and hot tub was too hot. No complaints other than that. A good stay, overall.

Amenities here are great for the pice comparatively to other hotels in the area. Sauna, pool and whirlpool along with a complimentary continental breakfast are definitely not all common together within a good budget price. Room is quaint with older style furniture but still very nice and clean.

Newly updated & has pool/whirlpool/sauna. Great price for right in town & very clean. Beds were hard as rocks though! Good breakfast included. Would stay here again.

We liked this place. Simple and clean. Small indoor pool, but hey better than nothing. Good breakfast, but we were always there on the weekend of huge kid events in town so it wasn't really a quiet place to stay.

It was quiet, clean and comfortable. Great verity for breakfast. The pool, sunna and hot tube were great. Easy access to downtown.

10 pm check-in and there was a very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful worker at the front desk. The rooms very very clean and easy to access. Any needs and/or questions were taken care of right away. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna very much (and appreciated not being overcome by any Corinne or bleach smells like most hotel pool areas). The breakfast was well stocked and a good selection. All in all a very accommodating hotel and great staff!
