Nice, clean rooms with modern decor. Breakfast options are great; when they had bacon it was perfectly crisp and I have recommend the yogurt with Michigan medley fruit. Roomy bathrooms. Mini refrigerator and microwave in room. And complimentary cookies at check in.

Pleasant friendly staff, Very clean like new rooms plugs everywhere.lol Excellent bed & pillows! Breakfast had tons of options Some cooks did better keeping things fresh than others. But still great food and options. Pool area was nice

Rooms are clean, with lovely modern decor. Nice, roomy bathrooms. In room refrigerator. Staff always professional. Great location near downtown without being in the full crazyness of it. Breakfast is tasty, highly recommend the yogurt with Michigan medley fruit. And, of course, free cookies at check in!

I cannot give 5 stars to any Country Inn and Suites from here on out. You took away the country with the remodel so the new name should be Modern Inn and Suites. To corporate.. Bring back the country!
Otherwise I am always pleased with the Marquette Country Inn. It is always clean, friendly and they take care of noise when there is a problem room. It also has extremely easy access.

Clean and recently refurbished. Nice gray-scale paint and furniture. Queen suite was big and comfortable. Having a refrigerator, microwave and two TVs in the room makes traveling with two kids easier! The pool was small but clean and well kept. We've been regularly staying at this hotel for the past 5+ years. This is the first trip where I was really unhappy with the quality of the food and choices for breakfast. In fact, on our third morning there this most recent trip, we didn't even eat the free breakfast (and I am ALL about free stuff). Instead we went out for breakfast/coffee. Also, our "do not disturb" sign was out each day and every time we left and came back you could tell someone had been in our room. The garbage was emptied, beds we're straightened. I didn't put away any electronics or medicine before I left because I assumed "do not disturb" meant no one was coming in while I was out!! What an unwelcome invasion of my privacy. To add insult to the whole thing, the housekeeping supervisor tucked a note in our door the first day we had the do not disturb sign out to let us know that no one cleaned our room that day because our sign was on the door all day. Haha! What a joke.

Friendly helpful staff, very clean rooms with comfy beds, pool and whirlpool clean and pleasant temps, breakfast similar to many others but served up hot with nice presentation, good coffee in lobby. We stayed here because they offer families visiting NMU campus good rate.

Very modern and comfortable stay. Looks new even now. Staff is great. Lots of amenities including laundry on site. Plus free cookies and coffee 24/7. On busy summer weekends, the breakfast is very chaotic and messy though.

This place was great! The rooms were clean and new, the breakfast was hot and fresh, and the kids enjoyed the pool. Great location as well. We stayed at the Holiday Inn the day before and this place was so much nicer. Highly recommended.

The bedrooms were really big with a fridge and microwave, large flat screen, comfy beds and pillows, cool AC, a large bathroom, everything was really clean. Very comfortable and cozy. The hotel seems very new or newly renovated. Pool, hot tub and fitness room. Complimentary breakfast was very tasty with a variety of options including make your own waffles.

Had a great night's sleep in town for a wedding! The room was very nice, the bed was comfy, and breakfast was good! Plus they have cookies out all the time, so tasty :)

Nice service and really like the renovations. Looks like it is brand new from the inside
Just stayed there again. Breakfast was a disaster. Came down and the buffet area was a mess and no hot food, plates or silverware left. Rooms still nice and clean and contemporary decor. If breakfast is a big deal for you think twice.response / report this review -

This is probably one of the nicest hotels in Marquette. It's definitely worth a stay. They have a microwave and fridge in the room, with cookies downstairs. The breakfast is pretty good too, better than a normal hotel breakfast.

This is a very nice clean hotel inside and out. Decorations look new and modern. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was good all 3 days we were there, and varied slightly each day. There were eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereal, bagels, French toast, waffles etc. Overall I was completely satisfied.
