Beautiful and spacious rooms. The casino is awesome and drinks are served all day and night as long as you're playing (or just sitting at a machine). Prices vary depending on your spending. This place will make you nearly feel like Vegas in Tampa. The food options are great too. They even have a food court you can enjoy during the day with kids.
Wonderful place! They came around quite frequently for drinks. The staff was very attentive and the food prices were great! I ate sushi at Rock N Raw and I have no complaints. Definitely recommend for a gambling trip.
This is a very nice casino with one of the best buffets we have ever dined in. There are fine dining establishments on site as well as other restaurants and attractions nearby. The staff are extremely polite and helpful and there are plenty of machines and tables to keep you entertained. The negative; the smoking areas of the casino are terrible and even though they say its well ventilated, just walking through will fill your clothing with the smell. Overall a great place to visit.
I go to the casino to play slot machines. I play penny slot machines because that is what I like. I don't go to try and win money because I know that's not likely to happen. I would like if the casino would give more promotional material for free play since there is a 99% chance that the person is not going to win on that free play but it does let me play for a little while which is all I'm asking for. As for the casino itself , it's a nice Casino with a lot of machines. It is for the most part clean, except for where the people who are playing tend to leave their cigarette ashes on the front of the slot machines. The bathrooms are normally clean. I haven't been to many of the restaurants I have been to Hard Rock Cafe and it was enjoyable both times. I have eaten at the food court multiple times. They have a decent choice. The staff in the casino are usually very friendly. They are helpful when I try to find a certain machine. It can get very crowded but that is the same at any Casino Hotel. I have not stayed overnight as a guest so I do not have an opinion on the hotel itself.
If you like oysters like I do this is the place for you! All you can eat $15 with your players card. I ate two dozen plus. There is something for everyone here. Sushi bar, seafood bar, the grille, pasta bar, pizza bar. salad bar etc Everything I had was delicious from the pork loin to the candied sweet potatoes. Staff was friendly & efficient. The only negative was the hour wait to be seated. Overall it was worth the wait & I would highly recommend.
The food here is surprisingly good. Council Oaks has the best steak in Tampa. It's best to get a reservation first if you're going on a Friday or Saturday night or expect to wait over 2 hours. This casino has the tightest slots I've ever used. They're only loose for club members who play more than an average amount. At this point, I only use the casino for fine dining or getting a drink at the center bar. The people watching is better than any WalMart.
Most of the Pit Bosses are very kind as well as generous.
The dealers are pleasant.
And, unless you're celebrating a special event, I would HIGHLY recommend eating BEFORE you get here. The food is excellent, but you're paying more for the ambiance than the food itself.
When a Bacon cheeseburger costs over $37.50 + your drink AND your tip, you've just spent more than $52.50 (And, that's if the service was 'just okay'.)
But, it's a lot of fun. Easy to get lost in.

It was fine. It's an Indian casino. What more is there to say? It was in a good location as I was staying in Orlando so it was about an hour drive to get there. It was right after the hurricane and they still had the slot area open and some tables. They had of a lot of variety of games and the payouts were okay even though I lost
Went for an evening at the hard Rock and had a great time. Parking was very easy and getting into the casino was a breeze. Beautiful inside with memorabilia everywhere throughout. Bar stations we're set up in multiple areas to accommodate the number of people visiting that night. Players club desk were very friendly and accommodating. Everyone we interacted with on the ground was very courteous and friendly.
Great slots..all the newest machines. Beautiful casino. It would be nice if there was at the very least a water, coffee or soda station has the drinks or not free if your gambling. The hotel and casino are easy to get to parking can be troublesome but the layout of the casino is simple. Not a casino you would like if you like the older games this one has all the new and latest digital machines not much in the way of video poker. A beautiful Casino none the less.
We came for the Champagne Brunch at Fresh Harvest Buffet and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, making getting your money's worth a worthwhile endeavor. The staff & chefs were personable & happy to be there. They were even making some new promo shots at the table next to us & the production crew were nice & joking with us while we ate. Would definitely return.
Electrifying! Fun the Staff is wonderful. They bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable and important. There's a large variety of slots and table games to satisfy everyone. The new expansion is luxurious and beautiful. I am an elite player and a regular. I had the pleasure to dine at all the restaurants.
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is amazing. You won't be disappointed. There's plenty of secure parking.
It was fun. Didn't see a single winner over $200 the whole Saturday night there. Food at Fresh Harvest was good. Each plate is $27. Great selection from buffets from 7 kitchens. Rooms without comps were quoted at over $600 for 1 night to stay in the middle of nowhere in Tampa. This is insane. Drinks from the bar were expensive but made well, good pour. Overall, a fun place to spend money of you like to gamble. Most of the machines are electronic screens. There are a few old style reel machines, which I like, to choose from. A lot of 1, 2, & 5 cent machines, but with minimum bets of over $1. Few 25 cent machines. A good amount of $1 machines. High roller machines with $25, $50, & $100 slot bets. Plenty of high roller areas. They are even building a helipad on the new parking garage.
We fly down to the Tampa area from Maine once a year (2 years running) and we always make it a point to visit the Hard Rock! We always have a really good time! My mom and I don't even really gamble, we like to walk around and look at all the memorabilia all over the place while the rest of our crew gambles. We play a few slots for fun. The pool was demolished for construction. The employee that we spoke said there will be a new hotel and 3 pools! Excited to check it out on one if our next trips. Food and service at the Hard Rock Cafe was really good. Bigger gift shop would have been nice, I wanted a souvenir but wasn't impressed with the selection. I might have missed another gift shop though. Overall really fun time!
We walked in from parking garage and made our way to the center bar. There we were greeted kindly by the late night bartenders and asked what we would like to drink. He offered up shot ideas, and promptly got us our drinks and shots. We stayed for 3 hours and ordered two rounds, it was highly enjoyable. The staff was super helpful and kind. They made great shots.
