Everything looked very nice and clean. The view from the rooftop bar was awesome. We didn't stay overnight so I can't say anything about the rooms.

Very nice upscale hotel. I was surprised by the quality of everything for the price. So happy with our decision to stay here over other like priced hotels. Continental breakfast is worth the price of the room by itself and roof top bar with free rum shots at sunset is a must every night. I will stay here everytime i come to clearwater beach!

Hotel room was clean and large enough for 3 adults to comfortably stay in 2 beds. Continental breakfast was good enough with eggs, serveral types of breads and spreads, fruit and other common foods. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was neat, but beers were quite expensive so its recommend to eat and drink t one of the many other bars within a 5 minute walk. Great place to stay overal for the price

The Hotel advertises a heated pool. They said the heater was broken . Would not have booked if I new this. The breakfast is not a full one eggs one day and grits the next. No sausage or bacon. A lot of bread no protein.. The first three floors of the Hotel are a parking garage and they charge $15 a day which is basically a surcharge on your room. The room was clean and the view of the gulf was fantastic.

The rooms are really nice and the people at guest services are friendly and helpful. They helped us figure out where to eat and called all the cruises to see what was available. Great location to beaches and shops!

It was a great hotel for the night. Everything was okay. Nothing stood out as fantastic but then nothing really stood out as bad. The room was clean, the hotel overall was clean. The location was the best part I think. It's right next to the tour boats, so from the pool you can see all the boats come and go.

Staff was friendly, cleanest hotel we stayed in while in Florida. The smell of the room was fabulous-- it didn't have the typical dingy hotel smell. Their pool was small but my son saw zero problems with it. Also, we were right near the marina which was cool because we could see the boats coming in and out. The biggest plus was we were able to walk everywhere because of its convenient location. I highly recommend this hotel

I stayed at Pier House 60 Marina Hotel in June for my wedding. I am giving 2 stars because the hotel was nice, very clean, and the location was great BUT our wedding weekend was nearly ruined by our stay at this hotel. Before I begin, I would like to note that Kelsey at the front desk, the night security guard, and the security guard from the nearby Holiday Inn were very apologetic and tried their best to help us in any way that they could. I think the problem is MANAGEMENT, not necessarily the hotel staff! Throughout our ordeal we NEVER saw or spoke to a manager and a manager was supposed to contact us after we requested a refund but never did. In total we booked 4 nights in 1 room, 2 nights in a separate bridal party room, and our guests booked 2 rooms also. The first night was great but the second night, my husband and I returned to the hotel from our rehearsal dinner to find that we were locked out of our room. The room key would not work at all. After MULTIPLE trips down to the lobby and the night security guard trying to use master keys, we were told that we would have to wait for a person from another hotel to come and use a tool to open our door from the outside. When the man arrived from another hotel, he tried his master keys which didn't work and said he would have to go back to the other hotel to get a tool to open the door. This was the night before our wedding so my (soon to be) husband and his best friend from college were planning to go out and have a drink but instead we were all stuck sitting in the hall of the hotel for 2 hours. When we FINALLY got into our room, they promised to have the card reader fixed first thing the next morning. The next day (our wedding day), we returned to the hotel around 11pm to find that we were locked out of our room AGAIN. Our friends that were also staying at the hotel were already at the rooftop bar waiting for us. This time, we waiting for an hour in the hallway in our wedding attire for our door to be unlocked, again by the man from another hotel. The girl in the lobby said there was only 1 other empty room in the hotel and she needed to wait for approval to move us there but gave us a voucher for a free drink at the bar. After getting into our room, we changed clothes, and had to leave our hotel door propped open so that we wouldn't get locked out again while we joined our friends at the bar. The lobby called when we got back to our room and said that they had assigned us another room. We went down to the lobby and got the new room keys but decided to move all of our stuff to the new room in the morning because we were EXHAUSTED by that point. In the morning (our last day in Clearwater), we packed up all of our luggage and my husband took 2 big suitcases and headed up to the new room while I sat in the old room with our stuff so we wouldn't get locked out AGAIN. When my husband used the key to open the new room, there was a family of 4 inside. They had somehow double booked the room. At this point we were getting very upsetmy husband had to drag our suitcases BACK to the lobby and tell them what was happening. Meanwhile, our friends (who traveled 10 hours to be there) were waiting for us to go get breakfast while we were STILL STUCK in our room so we wouldn't get locked out! This time in the lobby my husband requested a refund because we had been very nice about the whole deal but felt that no one had tried to accommodate us or make up for the fact that we had been unable to leave our hotel room without being locked out during our entire wedding weekend. We were put in a new room and told that a manager would be contacting us about our refund request.we were never contacted. IF we were contacted, I would not have written this review but since we never heard from anyone, I would like for others to be warned before visiting this hotel. We paid $1,500 for our rooms and also had 2 friends book rooms there so I feel like we should have been accommodated better. Unfortunately when we return to Clearwater for our anniversary, we will NOT be staying at Pier House 60.

I'll try to keep it short and sweet. The hotel itself I have no problems with, it's very clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The only two problems I have are with the continental breakfast, I guess I expected a little bit better for the price we're paying. Burnt biscuits and very watered-down gravy just do not work for me.
And I guess I feel that there was a little bit of false advertising on the pool. It's extremely small compared to the pictures on the website.
But other than that our stay so far has been great.

Absolutely love this hotel! It's very family friendly but would also be a good option if you wanted to get away from the kids or has a business trip. The staff here is wounderful, everyone is super friendly and helpful. My only problem is on the balcony when it rains the tile gets very slippery. My son ended up slipping, he didn't get hurt be it could have been much worse. Deffently going to come back again!!

They charge your card 25$ with out warning "just in case" charge it after and if something actually is wrong like other places. The morning breakfast is really small selection. How ever the view and the room was nice. The people at front desk did a great job on making me feel welcomed, and telling me about local places.

The reason it a 4 star:

    Pros

    Great customer service

    Clean rooms

    Great amenities.

    Cons.

Elevators feel and sound like they are going to fall at any moment

Breakfast is just breads and cerial.

    Charging without warning.

The front desk staff lacked professionalism. There is no concierge service and desk staff were unable to make restaurant recommendations.

Placed in a handicap accessible room while this isn't a need of ours and they would not change our room unless we were willing to pay an extra $60 per night. The walk-in style shower for accessibility purposes leaked all over the bathroom. Within the shower there is nowhere to set your products except for a small round tray that was balanced on the metal handrails, not attached to anything And speaking of toiletries bring your own.

The bathroom sink was pedestal style not vanity style so there is no room to set a make up bag, styling products, styling tools, etc.

There is no towel bar or hook near the shower so my husband and I would have to hand one other towels at the end of our showers.

The beds are beyond terrible. The sheets are not soft, pillows cheap, and the worst part is the cheap metal bed from that squeaks loudly with every single movement.

The walls and doors are paper thin and overnight noise was one of many reasons we were unable to rest well.

Location is yet another negative. They explained over the phone that the beach was directly across the street. This is absolutely not true. To get to the beach you cross one very busy road (Coronado) and then you must cross another road that separates the Wyndham from the beach. Another option is to walk down toward the pier and cross Coronado then walk through a very busy parking lot to get to the beach all while carrying small, rough beach towels that you literally sign out. We only took towels to the beach one time due to the inconvenience.

The roof top bar that they like to brag about doesn't have a sunset view, as the sunset is blocked by the Wyndham.

Breakfast was decent one morning. The coffee (if you can call it that) was merely brown hot water. Terrible!!!

The housekeeping staff were friendly and always provided extra towels upon request.

So, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here!!
