They don't care. Period. Heaven forbid you have no insurance or, dare I say, on Medicaid. You are treated as an inconvenient annoyance. My husband died in October. The only good thing I can say is that I was able to get him out of there and into Hospice where he could die with dignity and compassion. I thank God I never have to go to Self Regional again.I'd rather crawl to Abbeville while bleeding to death.

Not all staff but one lady in nicu she's so rude and she give us adituate,,,,,,,,whenever we say anything about our baby she never listen to us and she do not good take care our baby so I am disappointed

They claim they constantly loose paperwork or never received it . Then send a bill when its already PAID. Smh. Someone's sleeping on the job ..

I tried to NOT give them a "star". The WORST hospital/facility ever. Care is a joke! Patient had to ASK for a bath! Then we were obligated to "tip" the CNA, which was worth every penny. Patient passed away in February 2017. NEVER a final bill notice until October (8 months later). Then sent me a "past due" statement. Billing is a NIGHTMARE! I pray that if something happens to me or my family we will be able to go to another hospital. Self cares for thereSELF'S.

I found myself in this hospital after four years living in Greenwood and hearing stories like, "I'd throw my arm in a cooler and drive to Greenville before I'd go to Self Regional." I'm not an expert on good or bad medical care, I can only say that I have never been made to feel so comfortable at any hospital. The staff here is amazing. I've been here three days and just had to get some IT help and even the IT department was the best. If I must be in a hospital, this is the one for me.
Every meal, although small (healthier) has been delivered promptly, all calls answered right away and all the help I need. I am truly amazed

Most of the staff are rude and don't care. Worst hospital I've been to. I had a stroke 4 years ago. Staff just left me in lobby 40min. My daughter drive me to An Med where I got immediate care.

Nice place, and great service. Staff is always pleasant and smiling. They also have a great restaurant and cafeteria with free WiFi.

This Hospitall needs to close they never help doctors dont even examine you mf just give you sum to get ypur ass out there expecially that nasty ass doctor i had last nite went fpr my blood pressure & legs hurting bp was 156/106 he gave me nothing would not give me precriptipn for bp meds did not examiney legs push on them once with my pants on didnt even see my skin but gave me meds .i will be trying to get sum did about this even if i need a lawyer they fucled me for the last time

I have been sitting in E.R awaiting room for 3hrs unable to breath and have asthma. Need better management of the E.R or somebody going to die waiting on care. Express care should be open 24/7 or have enough doctors to take care of the patients.

I would not recommend going here. If they had the option of rating this hospital with no stars I would have chose that one. I have had nothing but crap with this hospital sending me to different places and having me have all these test done which I apparently didn't even need to begin with according to the doctors at MUSC. But I should have known since my family doctor was also bought out by self regional and their service has went down hill since that happened. I will definitely be switching family doctors soon.
