Awesome campground. We stayed there for 5 nights visiting family. Campground is well taken care of, everything was really clean. Friendly people in office. Would definitely go back if we were in the area again. We have been traveling for over 3 weeks from AZ, nicest campground we have stayed at since leaving home.

Very nice campground and facilities. Very open with minimal trees. Will be very hot in the heat of the summer. Beautiful on Labor day weekend.

Great location only a short drive to the beach. Sites are spacious and well laid out. Neighbors are friendly love to chat. Pool is sometimes crowded with kids but noise levels are reasonable.

Clean, so quiet, and very pretty. The pool is a good size and includes a hot tub as well as a kiddie pool with fountains. The playground is large with swings, a large play structure, a tether ball, sand, picnic tables, and they had a bounce house while we were there. The RV sites each have a dump station.

We are thoroughly enjoying our stay. We took advantage of the trolley that pulls right in front of the camp office which made it easy to head down to the beach without worrying about finding a parking spot.

Wells Beach was clean and not too crowded. The shore was shallow, and there some nice tide pools (nothing thrilling, mostly small crabs).

The Good: this "resort" was clean and seemed very friendly. Location is right down the street from Wells beach and many different shops and restaraunts.
The Bad: Extremely overpriced for what is offered. We paid over $1,400 for one week of camping in a trailer. Perhaps this is the going amount for this area, so I cannot comment on that. I just know that for the amount of money we spent to "camp", we could have rented a small house in the same town for only a bit more. I was disappointed that there were very few, if any, activities and events for kids, even though the place was filled with children. The camp "store" had an extremely limited amount of items, which meant that we had to travel to a local store anytime we needed something small like water or milk.
The Conclusion: all in all, I will not be camping here again. However, that does not mean that this place is not ideal for a different tyoe of vacationer then my family. It seems that it would be perfect for people that are not looking for a camping experience but a place to park their RV, hang out, and relax. Many of the trailers that are owned are super cute and the owners we spoke with have been there for years. Just be aware that this is NOT a campground, it is an RV "resort" with paved roads and very little interaction with guests and fellow campers.
