We we enjoy the themed weekends and supervised kids activities. Especially the Halloween weekend. Only loss of a star is that the mini-golf course & bathrooms could use some updating. Otherwise this is one of our kids favorite places to camp.

Our stay here was ok. Or site was big, but abutted the noisy road. The fact that the road bi-sects the campground is a big pain in the butt for kids. Some of the facilities are pretty dated. Other than that, its a nice, big campground with quite a few accommodations. The river tubing is a unique feature. They have tons of planned activities on the weekends.

Wow! What a wonderful family oriented Campground. I went as a Visitor but was able to access the facility as I was required to pay a $5.00 fee for a day pass. A must for family getaways!

A great place for families. If you don't have kids you can probably find a better place to go. But if you have kids it's hard to find a place that's more entertaining for them at such a good value. Like most campgrounds they could probably spend a little more money on upkeep and maintenance bathrooms were kind of disgusting but that's not uncommon

I came here last year with my friend. I was only 10 so I forgot the name of the campsite. I found it again. I want to come back and convincing my family to come. I hope they say yes! I found the staff nice. When I lost money in a game the girl working the arcade at the time gave me half my money back! I was happy. This was my favorite campground out of the 5 I have been in my life. Thank you for a great Flat Rock Bridge experience!!😀👍

2016 was our first year as a seasonal family. We selected Flat Rock because of its family-friendly atmosphere, the kid-friendly activities and the location. Being seasonal campers for the first time, naturally we were full of questions/concerns and the like. From the moment we arrived in early May, the staff was great! Helpful in any way possible, they addressed every question (many) and every issue (few) we threw at them and made us feel right at home!
To John, Mary & Ted, thank you so much for your hospitality!
This truly was a wonderful summer and I cannot wait to return for 2017!
    With kindest regards,
    Carole D. (W2)

Okay, get ready for the truth. So my family decided to come here with a few different friends families. When we first arrived we dropped everything off at our riverside campsite and took of for the pool. The staff was friendly for about 10 minutes. After that a man insulted my cousins hello kitty face mask. She is 11, really? Then when we went on the water slide we were talking about the best way to go, and the man said that we I will be going extra fast cause I'm "fat." After that they kicked my brother out of the water for jumping into the deep end while people had four stack chickens and people diving in the shallow end. Rest of the night was good except for people using our camp site to get to the river, which was just a deathtrap of rocks until the end where it becomes too deep for any kids and too strong of a current for weak swimmers. Next day we had to deal with a limit of refunds and moody security. We were going to have guests for supper so I brought money to the front desk but they wouldn't give refunds so I just waited until the people got their at which point they charged extra for being at night, it's 4 in the afternoon. They said they would give us the extra money back after though. We proceeded to eat supper and me and my friend decided to hit the arcade. Once their we found one of the machines are every drop of monney we put in it. We asked for a refund and the woman gave us half of it. Enough for my friend and told me tough luck that's all they will give out for refunds. The machines spit out empty boxes and eggs and the candy was long over due. But the games were amazing. And the owner of the games was constantly putting in money for those who were short and such. After words we hit the shop and grabbed some cap guns where we over heard on the radio that they needed all security personnel at our campsite and that their were two teens out and about from the site. From that point on we were being followed around the site. When we showed up they were escorting our guests and telling everyone quite rudely to get all cars but one of their site. After that point they were sitting nearby watching our every movement. I am still here but leaving early tomorrow and batting our refund. Good luck coming here.

Pretty cool place! Nice slow river for tubing. A good amount of decently wooded sites. Full hookups almost everywhere which is great. My kids loved it and we had a great time, even at full capacity on July 4th weekend.which usually isn't our style. Worth checking out!

I am not at all happy with this place. My family and I went here last summer and it was ok, nothing spectacular, but we know people that come here and so we booked another trip for this summer. We just got into a bad accident that totaled both the car and camper and that I'm still recovering from since it just happened. We just called to cancel since we now no longer have the camper and they refused to refund our money since we are inside the 30 day policy. Our trip is about 3 weeks away so it's not like we're trying to cancel the night before and we didn't plan on getting in an accident and totaling our camper. They have no compassion and said that we could either camp with a tent on the site or rebook. I have no desire to rebook here especially since we don't know when we'll be able to get a new truck and camper. I will never return and anyone thinking of going I wouldn't waste your time since it's really not a good campsite anyway. If I could give negative stars I would.
