From a photography standpoint only, this place is great for photos. We did family portraits there and it worked out great. I love the beach, playground and large wooden Adirondack bench. - Out of the Ordinary Photography

First, I want to say that my husband and I only stayed there for one night, so they would have had to blown my socks off for a 5 star rating. As far as hotels go its not the best I have stayed in and not the worst. However to be fair, there are very few hotels on the Lake George strip that live up to the high standers of my husband and I. The hotel was well staffed and very accommodating. They had maps and signs that were clear, which believe me is refreshing. All the rooms led directly outside, which is great in the summer. The room had all the amenities that people usually look for including a TV, closet, and sample shampoo.
The negative about this place is minimal but I feel worth noting for the price I paid for the room. It is not updated at all. This would not be a problem if every thing in the place did not feel musty. Not like, wow these sheets have not been washed musty but the kind of must you get at your grandma's house. Just ware and tear kind of must. This "feeling" seeped out of everywhere, from the front desk, to the shower. Again, this is my opinion, but for the price i paid, i expected everything to "Feel" newer. I should also state that I do stay in places that "feel" like this and I do not mind (because I am not paying to dollar).
All in all, I would not stay here again unless it was off season and It was my only choice but I know people who really love this establishment.response / report this review -

Nice location. Lots to do. Really nice front desk personnel. The night was cold and the room heater did not work. They gave us a space heater that did an ok job. Walls are thin, I could hear the people next door snoring. Bed not too comfortable. Plenty of food options around.

Pool was closed during one of the warmest weeks all year, room showed signs of leakage in the ceiling, room smelled of mildew. Only saving Grace was beautiful view of the lake.

My boyfriend and I decided to spend a night on Lake George and stumbled upon this gem we have since stayed 3 times and loved every one more than the last! Even the furthest rooms are easily within reach of the lakeside, pool, cafe, bar and watersports. It's also a short walk to the downtnown village area, so no worries about parking. Everyone is super friendly and recommendations for the area are spot on. The internet connection can be a little shotty and unreliable, but otherwise rooms are simple, clean and functional. We will definitely be staying here often.

Great location, perfect for summer fun. Mix of young people and families. Scenic lakeside resort, BBQ area, pool, beach, etc. all within walking distance to the main strip.

We stayed in a "suite" room. Everything was clean and neat. Beds are comfortable. The bath towels were a little rough and the shower took forever to get hot.
