Extremely friendly staff, very knowledgeable about the area, with great suggestions for local dinning and shopping.

Just returned from a short vacation at Lake George. We stayed in the past in hotels in the village and wanted something more private and clean. We had so much fun at the villas. We rented two condos with kitchen. Accommodations were great, private lake and the option to rent motor boat and ski jets. Each unit has its own picnic area and barbecue. Pool was definitely heated and salty. Overall excellent experience. We will come again next year.

We stayed at the big house. It is right in the lake and it's nice to see the lake and go down any time you want. We rented with friends and it is big enough for 2 or 3 families. They have a cafe on premise and row boats and kayaks to take out for free. This is my second time here and I would recommend this to other friends

We booked a room for 3 nights and 4 days. It was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The pictures that we saw of the rooms were very misleading. The bathrooms are outdated and very cramped. The TV is on the nightstand so close to the door that we felt like we were going to knock it over everytime we opened the door. The pillows were almost as flat as cardboard and you had to sleep with four of them to get the feeling of a normal pillow. The wifi is a joke, and barely stayed connected for more than two minutes, thats if it actually showed up on the lists of available networks. You had to have some type of adapter for the outlets if you actually wanted to plug anything in because the plugs fall right out of the wall. Out of all the outlets in the room and even the bathroom there was only two that actually worked/held our plugs in place. The hotel is supposed to offer a lake view, which unless you have a room at the bottom of the hill you don't really get. Not to mention the giant beach house that is blocking your view. The pool is supposed to be heated and filled with salt water. It was freezing, and not salty. The man behind the desk said that it was heated at 80 degrees, there is no way. If you actually walk down to the water you will be confused by all the bouy ropes as to where you can actually swim. Also because of the beach house being where it is you feel like you are interupting the people who have rented the house because you are pretty much in their front yard. The "cafe" experience they offer is ridiculous and over priced. I was extremely disappointed in our stay and will never recommend staying here to anyone.

The Villas on Lake George gives a true meaning to what R and R is supposed to be. Rest and Recreation. My favorite thing that separates this location from the rest is the access to the water, being able to just walk out of my Villa surrounded by nature, trees, grass and onto the sand to dip my feet directly into the fresh water lake is amazing!!! The views of the Lake are spectacular from this location and the rooms are equipped with everything you need. The Village is just a short drive away to get your supplies, and make sure to buy some meat for the Bar b q :) located right outside your door. And if you want to go out to eat, they also have great boat rentals to take a boat ride across the lake to some great restaurants you can dock the boat and Dine away ! They don't offer beach size towels so you might have to bring your own to catch some sun on the lounge chairs they provide in front of the water. Can't wait to go back.

    100% honest review
Ive been to enough hotels to know that the balance between affordable and clean is tough to achieve. i believe my review to be objective and unbiased.

We stayed at the villas during americade bike week. Everything was amazing. The rooms were affordable and spacious with a fully stocked kitchen with a fridge and stove and a cute living area. They turned the ac on before we arrived so that the room would be cool for us.
And the room was so clean! No disgusting carpets with mystery stains, all wood floors.
The staff was amazing and super accomidating.
We had a trailer with 2 motorcycles and the parking lot was on a hill, which would have made things difficult, but the staff was more than happy to come out and help.
They went above and beyond and i would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone.
