The owner was super nice. The cottage had that 80s feel to it, but was a good place. Would recommend.

Not bad, but not great. We had cabin 3 and it's a small double bed with a mini fridge. It's clean and pretty quiet. I don't like that the only door is a sliding window that does lock, but I wish there was an actual door. The shower is extremely small and I honestly don't know how any guy would fit. I'm 5'2 and 130lbs and it was very small and hard for me to move around in - looking at it I thinks it's about 3 feet squared - if that. The water pressure and temp were great. Also, if you're taller, you may hit your knees on the wall in front of you while on the toilet. There aren't any outlets in the bathroom and the lighting next to the dresser isn't good at all, so being a woman who does her hair and makeup, it wasn't ideal. There needs to be a microwave since there's a fridge but no way to heat anything up. There's an AC in the room but didn't use it as it was freezing this weekend. The owner gave us a little heater which worked well. The bed was very uncomfortable to the point that we both woke with bad back pain after the first night and went and bought a topper at Walmart for the rest of our nights here. The place does allow dogs, which is great. I have a support dog, so it doesn't matter for me, but it's hard finding places, so that's a plus. There's a TV but about 3/4 of the channels are fuzzy.
Overall, this place wasn't bad, but I'd probably look elsewhere to get better amenities and space. However, if you're looking for a cheap option and don't care about a lot of space, or are a single person staying in this cabin, then this place is good. I can only attest to the cabin we stayed in. The others here may be bigger and offer other amenities.response / report this review -

Loved the place. The owner was very friendly and nice. The place was amazing. No one bothers you there. You can walk around the property and feel safe. This is going to be my vacation spot every year from now on.

Extremely nice owner and nice clean place to stay for a weekend. Was able to check out all the different style rooms in person because I was in the area for a wedding. Most of the place was taken up by the wedding party so I can say any of the rooms were nice. The owner also allowed the set up of out door tents for bbqs in the fire pit area, which was nice. I was a little skeptical from the appearance of the outside but again nice cozy clean place.

Great little cabins, but the bathrooms were tiny wirh standing showers that seemed moldy on the bottom.
While we were there one of the "patio" slabs caved in and it turned out there was a cepfic tank underneath it, so it turned into a big open air cess pitt.
Thankfully no one was standing on it when it collapsed.
The pool facilities were nice, as was the outdoor picknic area where we had a nice grouo gathering and burned wood in their fire pit.

Decent for what it is. Don't expect luxury but as a place to crash after a day of activities around the Lake it works. Close enough to Lake George Town (10 minute drive) and to various boat and fishing rentals means it's as good a lakeside motel as any. The owner was very friendly and accommodating.

Ok location. Terrible bed. Honestly don't know how anyone could rent out a cabin with a bed that you feel the springs poking in your back.
