Service isn't too bad. Like any dealership it can take what seems like forever just to do an oil change but the prices are good and the sales reps seem honest. The sales team is good I personally prefer to work with Frank he is a straight shooter and very helpful.
I give them 4 stars for the salesman they help me out with everything I need but now I'm having problems with the car I'm rating their service department a 1 star, because I've been going to them so many times about my 2014 Honda civic with an electric problem I'm getting a battery drain that it damage my battery and my alternator. Every time I went they first told me it was the battery after a month again and they told me it was the alternator, I fix both my self and now both of my battery and alternator is dead and they can't fix it cause my warranty expired and it's been less then 6 months. I love my civic and they couldn't find the problem now they want to charge me to diagnose it to fix the problem when I've been going to them every month for this problem
Fudge this place. I tried to buy a car here and the salesman basically made me beg him to test drive a car.
He had no knowledge of the vehicle, couldn't tell me the difference between different models (he kept telling to to read the brochure) and generate made me feel like an inconvenience to his day. When I inquired about trim/color combinations they didn't have on their lot the pretty much told me it was to much trouble to locate and they wouldn't even look into another dealer's inventory until I paid for the car.
I went 45 minutes out of my way to another Honda dealer and bought a car that very day, in the trim and color I wanted with no problem at all.
Their service department is pretty shady too.
I recommend that you do not go here.
They are SIMPLY the best. My only complaint is the Wifi - otherwise they have a very efficient service department. They go way above and beyond the call of duty.
I received a recall notice from Honda for the battery sensor on my car approximately two months ago. I called to make an appointment and asked if they had the replacement part as I didn't want the temporary fix of applying adhesive. I was told that they did. Unfortunately I needed to change the appointment date and talked to a different person. I again asked if they had the replacement part and was assured that they did. I arrived this morning and some men who spoke limited English started checking my car over. I explained that I was there for the recall. They continued on and left me standing there. Finally, a service person came in and I again said that I was there for the recall and asked what they were doing to my car. Another man walked by and told me that I could go somewhere else if I wasn't happy. I told him that it wasn't neccesary to be rude and he kept on walking. The service desk girl said to have a seat in the waiting room. 45 minutes later my name was called and I asked what was done. She said it was a complimentary service to check the car and that an adhesive was applied to the sensor. I told her I had specifically asked If they had the replacement part twice and was told that they did. She said that the adhesive was Honda's directive. I repeated that I was told that they they had the part. Again she gave the robotic answer that it was a Honda policy. I repeated to her my question as to whether they had the replacement part and she said they did not. I am thoroughly disappointed and disgusted by the treatment I received at this business and would rate them a minus ten if possible! Disinterested and rude people are not good customer service!
Embarrassingly unprofessional. While under lemon law warranty my turbocharger failed. They jerked me around for THREE WEEKS, during which the car was un-drivable. Would not answer a single email and would not call me back. With no resolution in sight I was forced to spend $1,200 out of pocket to have it fixed myself. They eventually agreed to reimburse me $1,000check showed up, $750. And Ron Jr. had the nerve to send a hand signed letter with the check saying "here's the agreed upon amount". Ridiculous.
This is a continuation of the nightmare story with Morehead Honda from Newburgh. After mistreatment we experience from them on last Saturday I wrote about it on this blog( Patryk Krzesaj). Ms. Jennifer Archer responded under the owner's title.
Now, it is my fault because I am guilty of being NAIVE believing that Morehead Honda stopped being a shady businesses overnight. They did not. I called back as requested by Ms. Archer believing that they want to do the right thing. NAIVE.!!!!!!
Ms. Archer put me to work demanding an info about her own employees. You have all the paperwork from transaction there. All involved. Unless you have such a mess there that you can not find it after 2 days( which I strongly believe). Ms. Jennifer Archer can not even respectfully carry the conversation without interrupting me and getting offensive. What I was thinking? NAIVE!
By the way Morehead Honda owe me my deposit. They kept my car and my money.
Apologies won't cut it Ms. Jennifer Archer. I called as you requested Ms. Jennifer Archer to give you opportunity to make it right. I was disrespected again. My fault for being NAIVE!
People stay away from Morehead Honda in Newburgh
BEST SERVICE OUTSTANDING PEOPLE , NOT ALL ABOUT THE SALES LIKE OTHER DEALERS THEY ARE TRULY INTERESTED IN GETTING YOU WHAT YOU WANT
Service is a bit slow but that's bc I always end up taking it on the weekends Some sales people just want their sales and others are nice to just test drive with and talk to with no pressure.
I wish I could give this zero stars. Bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata a year ago for my son. Just tried to get it serviced for a "check engine light". They told me they don't have the ability to check Hyundai vehicle warning lights. What? So you sell me a car, but have no way to service it? I took time off from work to bring in the car. When i asked why i wasn't told this when i made the apptointment, service advisor said that the girls who answer the phone aren't techhnical. That to me is an unacceptable answer. Explained to the service advisor that it's my son's car and I really need to know if it's ok for him to drive, he didn't seem too interested in trying to help.To top it off, he was far from friendly and told me it may have been as simple as a loose gas cap. Now, I'm no mechanic but I'm not an idiot either. Told him to give me my keys and I left. I will never, repeat never do any business with them again.
Very happy with the help I received. Car shopping can be a pain!! - but I had a very seamless process with finding the car I wanted at a fair price here. Would recommend coming to this location over various other pushy dealerships in the Hudson Valley.
Worst experience I have ever had attempting to buy a car. They are so disorganized and there is zero team communication. We had 4 people telling us completely different things. In the end we were handed over to work with a sales rep DAVE and he was so rude we ended up walking out. I don't know if it's a woman thing or a gay thing but my partner and I were treated with zero respect, talked down to, talked over and scolded. We literally have to go out of our way to go to a different dealership and we absolutely will.
I was a customer for 10 years and bought my first new car there. The sales staff assured me on three separate occasions that when I was ready to sell the car they would buy it back. They said, absolutely, no problem, we'll take care of you. When I was ready to sell, I was told again, no worries, they would take care of me so I had the car cleaned up and went in to sell the car as I am leaving the country for a few months and have nowhere to store it. All of a sudden they said they couldn't buy it in spite of the reassurance only a week earlier. They then brought over a "wholesaler" who "just happened to be there" and he offered me a ridiculously lowball price. I thought I could trust them but they pulled the old used salesman car trick of blaming "the boss". You really cannot trust them to follow through. They will clearly say anything to sell a car. I am upset because I have recommended them in the past. I was clearly wrong to do so.
