As always, wonderful service, amazing cocktails and delicious food! We've been going for almost 10 years and we are never disappointed.
warm, friendly, welcoming
Very disappointing. Our first visit since the expansion, though we had eaten here many times before, and we were immediately overwhelmed by the noise. However, we were seated in the quieter, old section, so that wasn't too bad. It took a while for anything to happen apart from being served water - it seemed there were far too few staff. Nobody asked if we wanted a pre-dinner drink. We eventually ordered, and the starters were excellent, though they took a while to arrive. There were problems with the main course, which were eventually resolved, but I have to say the experience was *nothing* like it was before, and I doubt we will eat there again. Such a shame.
Not as good as it was before its expansion. Portions smaller. Dishes not as inventive or interesting. Have been coming here for 19 years.
We've lived in Rhinebeck for 18 years now and go to the Bistro on a regular basis. It's our favorite restaurant in the Hudson Valley. We've never been disappointed by a meal there. The staff is skilled and the level of service is excellent. The food is fresh, local, seasonal and expertly prepared. Their newly expanded and restored space has become one of the cornerstones of the village. Love this place.
One of the best restaurants in Rhinebeck New York. The food is great and the service is even better. Very creative menu and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate and make your visit pleasurable.
Exceptional service and the food was out of this world. They have a menu that changes daily so there is always a ton of bew things to try. Fried oysters were so good and I don't even like oysters.
Great food and atmosphere
Amazing place. Paula, the bartender, is awesome
This place is great. Steak was cooked beautifly and the cheese plate was a really great. Brunch was equally delicious. All of our side were fresh and went well with the main dish. Good portions, you won't go home hungryI can imagine there was lots of butter used. Staff lets you take your time and have a certain relaxed nature, which while might be a turn off to some, is very reminiscent of bistro staff in Paris. Only cons: It is pricy and the atmosphere in the back (think Japanese Steak House) is heavily in juxtaposition to the food.
OMG! The fried oysters are to die for!
I had the hangar steak. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. Diane had the French onion soup. This is our favorite restaurant.
best restaurant in Rhinebeck. There are many good ones, but none are as consistently excellent as Petit Bistro. The renovations make the ambiance a 10. (though maybe a little busy on weekends for quiet romantic meal). Great Job!
