I stayed at Sandy Shore as part of a group trip with a large number of friends, and it was our second trip to Sandy Shore (as we enjoyed it so much the first time). During our stay, I fell off the bed while wrestling with my girlfriend (sober, with other people in the room) and dented the wall. Our fault, we're willing to pay, no big deal BUT when we received a bill for $350 for a shallow drywall hole, we called to see what the root of the expense was.

During my girlfriend's conversation with the building manager, she was treated incredibly rudely. The manager yelled over her and at her, called her a "f---ing disrespectful little girl," and stated that "[they] can charge whatever [they] want for whatever [they] want." All of this occurred while we were speaking as politely, calmly, and respectfully as possible. The manager offered to give us the owner's contact information, then when asked for it denied any knowledge of the information or how to obtain it.

I am not sure what common business practices are for this establishment, but screaming and swearing at a polite girl over the phone and "charging whatever they want" are some of the worst I have ever encountered. Not only will none of us be returning to Sandy Shore, but I hope this message reaches enough people to prevent this sort of unprofessionalism from impacting anyone else.

Great place right on the beach. Live DJ. Good Vibes. Bars & restaurants down the road by walking. Dont even need to drive your car. Everything walking distance.

I actually enjoyed this motel a lot more so then many of the others in the area. The style of building with the large court yard leading to the beach is great for both socilizing and easy access to the beach. There is also a bar between the beach and the motel which had really friendly service. The only problem that I had while stay was the constant stink of weed from the college students that we where stay next to

The room was tiny, bed moved all over the uneven floor. The room was dirty, looked like it had not been cleaned. Sheets were dirty visible brown particles in the sheets.The room looked nothing like the photo on line. The place was noisy, people hanging out on the balcony drinking, no privacy. So noisy we had to leave in the middle of the night
Since then, we have tried to contact the owner numerous times to talk to him with no return phone call. Kept our two night minimum stay money and will not even so the courtesy to call back. Not very professional.

Poor Customer Service - a complete rip off! My sister Kris T. book a room in late April for August 4 2017. At the end of May we decided since we booked an international trip next year it would be smart to cancel this years beach trip. We immediately cancelled online (a good 2 1/2 months) before out trip. The $ was not returned so my sister sent an email. Basically if you have book ANY rooms here between May 30 and the end of season you FORFEIT the first night. However, we have emailed and asked for a refund with no response or call back from the "owner" as were told once always. To make it worse, they kept our 1 nights $ and then booked the weekend we were staying so they get paid twice! Disgraceful!

Great location, great veiw, great service!!! If you're looking for a luxury hotel this may not for you but the rooms are still very nice. I rented the apt room and it is very spacious. Fit two adults and 3 kids comfortably with lots of room. Wish they had more hooks to hang towels/bathing suits though all they have is one small towel rack in the bathroom. Overall had a great time, the bar on the beach and the veiw from the hotel is amazing!! We definitely will be coming again!

Affordable, comfortable, great location. Walls are pretty thin and the wifi was too slow to stream a show. We had a really nice stay though.

An example of a good waterfront motel. This hotel is clean and perfectly located. The Motel is family owned so management and staff are easily approachable and reasonable to requests. Your room is 10 steps away from the beach and even closer to the beach bar located on the beach. I would give this place a 10/10 and recommend anybody looking to get away to go to this place. Just be aware that parking is limited and one parking spot per room so please carpool. Thank you!

Me and my daughter her husband and my 2 grandsons stayed here in November of 2016. I believe it was the last weekend they were open. We were 1 of the 2 rooms rented for the night. The lady that checked us in was very nice and we loved the room! It was decorated very cute and she said she had done the decorating. I have never stayed right on the beach before but we loved it here! Was hoping to stay for spring fest but price just to high and can't stay 2 nights. Hope we can find a place as nice.
