I love this place! The rooms are clean. The kitchenette in the room is fully stocked with dishes and cookware. There is a microwave, 2 burner stove, toaster, coffee pot, and refrigerator with freezer. The shower was exceptionally clean. The beds are comfy. The sofa bed is convenient. We slept 6 to a room, comfortably (2 adults, 4 children). The floors are tiled. The staff is super friendly and treats you like family. The beach view or beach front balcony allows you to watch the sunset every night. The beach and pool weren't crowded at all. The pool is heated. They offer thick, clean beach towels to check in/out as many times per day as you need. This resort sits right on the beach. The location is amazing. On this island, there are plenty of mom & pop restaurants. There is great souvenir shopping, too. Also a grocery store is right down the street, so it's easy to stock up the fridge. Around the pool, there is a shuffleboard, grill with tables and chairs, as well as fresh lemonade and a coffee bar. There are ice cream treats and souvenirs in their gift shop. They also have a few medications, sun tan/block lotions and other necessities available behind their guest service counter. The housekeeping staff is friendly as well. It is very simple and cute. As a guest here, you also have access to the amenities at Pink Shell, which is a larger resort. We will definitely be staying here again! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sandpiper Resort!

Very nice resort. Very friendly workers thought the resort. Must take advantage of going to the sister resort for additional amenities. Rent bikes and use bus to go up and down the strip.
I had to shave off a star, as I reserved a Beachfront room, but somehow I got bumped out of my room (without explanation) to the lowest room available, at the same charge! It took the front desk person to call 4 other people to at least get me a beachview room with a $20/night refund. I wonder did we bump someone too. It all turned out good. Enjoyed the room and the resort. Handled to my satisfaction in the end.

Very clean, convenient. Great shower & comfy bed! Wish there was an elevator to the 3rd floor, and wish we'd seen the DVD player sooner than the night before we left!

Room on the beach was very nice, great view. Front desk was super rude when trying to handle a payment from their sister resort the Pink Shell. The Pink Shell ended up making it right, but not until after I had to deal with the front desk accusing me of trying to rip them off for a night. Stay at the pink shell if you can.

Very nice accommodations,rooms are clean and.spacious. Great balcony that overlooks entire courtyard, pool and can even see the beach from any room. The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They have a night security gaurd, Mike Kirby, who is phenomenal and made us feel safe just knowing he was on duty. I would recommend to anyone and will definitely be back!!

The location is beautiful. The suite was ok. It was very loud because of children swimming at all hours. We called the office a few time with little to no resolve.

The BBQ areas are amazing, they are calm, secluded, and have amazing grils. The rooms are big and have all the utensils needed for cooking and other things. All the pools are great and big. It's a very nice hotel!

Nice cozy rooms. The walk on balcony is a pretty nice as well if you have the beach view. They service the rooms everyday. Nice people great atmosphere. Walk to the beach is like half a minute

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at so far. The pool is really nice, the beach is right at the hotel. Me and my family walked the beach everyday in the morning, and pretty much explored. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to stay by the beach.

Oceanfront room- worth the extra $. Full size fridge, Stovetop and microwave. Patios on 1st floor were enormous. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very clean! Room setvice in and out to keep room tidy. Dodnt expect them to wash my dishesby paper plates and cooking spray all dishes and pans are supplied.

The hotel is a gem! Not too big, clear, almost familistic. Super friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, beautiful view. The beach (breathtakingly beautiful) and the pools are cleaned and maintained daily. Always clean beach towels. The short walk to the beach or to the pool, just brilliant. Even barbecue by the pool is possible. What more do you want ?! (Last stay Sept 2016).

Loved this place. Don't want to go back up north. It's making us really consider relocating. Staff very nice and having a mini kitchen was just what we wanted. No complaints here. Just remember, your on a beach. You WILL find sand in your room. Goes with the territory.

Awesome hotel. Staff is amazing and free beach towels and water daily is a big plus ! Heated pools are great for cool evenings. Wish there were more restaurants close by but full kitchen is great for making your own meals ! Ask for beachfront room , the view is wonderful !

Rooms are good. Service so far has been good. Very friendly lady behind the front desk! No problems with the wifi as of yetRight on the beach so we can sit on the balcony and listen to the waves roll. Powder white sand, VERY relaxing!
