These people straight up stole my books I left for trade-in. They say if you want to trade in your books, put them in a paper bag, clearly write your information on the submission sheet, and place it in the book ramp, and within 36-48 hours you'll get a response. I gave my books 1.5 weeks ago and have heard nothing. Not impressed.

Not only that, but I was stared at and ignored by staff when I went in store to trade in and to browse. They stared at me and whispered while I was browsing. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a business before. I saw staff happily conversing with other customers, so I didn't know if I was unwelcome because I'm visibly LGBT or what their problem with me was, so I left without purchasing the books I wanted.

I'm super disappointed. At this point I don't want my trade-in coupon, or anything at all. I'm taking my business to Half Price Books instead, where they promptly give me credit for trade ins and actually make me feel welcome.

Sandman is the single greatest bookstore I've ever been to. The staff are wonderful and can help you find whatever you need. The atmosphere is fantastic and the store has thousands of books. Their cat is always present (usually sleeping) and always brightens my day!

I was so disappointedI looked up what to do around here and this store came up. I was beyond excited!! We drove here because it said it was open til 4pm. We got here and there's a note saying they are not open on Sundays. I cannot wait to be able to go but still extremely upset the hours online and on the door didn't match. Set a bad tone for the rest of my day.

Best book store! They have everything you could ever be looking for, a very unique "book bridge" made out of books, and a cat named Kitty-Wan Kenobi. The couple that runs the store is really nice. You can hang out and read and if you have kids you should definitely go to Princess Storytime.

Visiting Sandman Book Company is an essential activity for a Florida trip. The bookstore is a wonderful place to browse through pages. It is large and well organized. There are many welcoming and personal touches, like book recommendations in different genre sections, and the fun "banned books" section. I could spend hours there!
