Great time will be had here. A few decent rides, mini-golf, go-carts, arcade games for tickets to trade on quipee prises. A really decent pizza buffet. Fast n friendly attendants. We go here once a month for a night out.
Great family fun. A lot to do incuding an amusement park. Great for a birthday party.
Me and my wife decided to do a date night here 6PM Saturday 9/23/17. We just wanted to ride go carts and play a round of mini golf. With just me and her on the slick track, her go cart drove very slow sputtering like it was running out of gas the whole race and the attendant did nothing until it literally died on the track (at which time he asked me to push it back with my cart) acting very inconvenienced. We gave the mini golf a try and could barely see the course in the poor lighting, most of the tunnels were clogged with leaves and the mosquitos were terrible! The whole place was like a ghost town and you have to track down an employee to get assistance or ride anything. Maybe we caught them on a bad night but I won’t return anytime soon. Gave our last 4 tickets to a kid on the way out and I took her to a movie across the street to make up for this sh**hole!!! 👎
Very under staffed. They sell you a wristband for unlimited laser tag and go karts but your lucky if you get to ride go karts 2 times because it takes 20 to 25 minutes just for them to get you in and ready to race. They also will not let you pick your own kart and because it's unlimited, they lines are very long. You definitely do not get your money's worth. Service was okay. Will not be coming back
The only water park around so thats Nice ! Not very big but its all we got around here and its close and local.
The place was tiny and rides were nore for kids. Definitely run down and old. Not worth the price. Go to waterville
There was virtually one person operating all the rides, so in order to ride anything, you'd have to follow this person around. Not all concessions were open. The eating area, where they serve a pizza buffet, was dirty with food crumbs and grease all over the tables hours after food was served. This was while the concession stand near the eating area was staffed by two people, neither of whom were doing anything but chatting. They were curteous.
There was a lot of construction equipment and amusment park parts laying around visible to guests.
If all of this was due to a midweek visit, then the prices should reflect that. We paid full price for less than half of what the park claims it offers.
My 3 yo son and I were there for a birthday party. He ENJOYED the water park. There was just enough for him to do.
Held a "birthday party" here paid my deposit invited 20 guests paid 300$ and got no accommodations. Was promised the best time by the manager himself and it was a bunch of lies! The staff was rude at the gocarts yelling at the kids like they were there own kids . Got attitudes like they hated the world! The place is filthy! I would never recommend this place to a single person!!! Take your business and money somewhere else please. This place is a big disappointment!
We had a blast! Lots to do! Our boys loved it. Really sore from walking up stairs but it was worth it to see the smiles on my boys faces!
Ms Cheri made our Christmas trip so much fun kids loved her also took kids on train ride money well spent did slick track kids karts and Ferris wheel
The staff is really sweet and the park wasn't crowded. But its not for the older kids. It is for really small kids. But IT IS A GREAT PLACE FOR PHOTOSHOOTS WITH PARK THEME.
We had my daughter's 3rd birthday at Sam's Fun City recently. We selected the Bullwinkle party package which includes some time on the bouncers, food, and an hour on the amusement rides outside. Everyone had such a great time! The bouncers were not crowded and were age appropriate for out group. The pizza was pretty good and all of the other food we ordered for the adults was delicious. Outside, the kids rode the train, Ferris wheel, carousel, taxi jet, and the frog hopper quite a few times! There were plenty of age appropriate rides for our group of 2-6 year olds. One ride that we wanted to ride was unavailable to us but they were just putting a fresh coat of paint on it. As parties go, I was very pleased. Out hostess was very attentive and let our birthday girl call the shots. Extremely cost effective for the amount of fun we had, especially when you consider that the kids had access to the bouncers for the rest of the day!
We bought the "Keys to the City" wristbands which included unlimited access to the rides, well worth the price. Before ringing up the purchase, the cashier told us that the go carts were not running due to rain- and then checked with the manager to inform us that they would be opened in 30 minutes. Right on schedule, we road them 3 times. We rode most of the outdoor rides, many of which you will find at traveling carnivals. I found the amount of time that you get to spend on the rides to be longer than most places that we've been to. We did not wait longer than a couple of minutes for any of the rides, attendants outside asked us which ride did we want to do next. My daughter asked an attendant to extend the time on two rides that she really liked, and was accommodated. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, prices are good. We did not eat in the snack bar as we planned dinner at Pensacola beach- but they were all reasonable.
We'll come here again.
My experience at Sams fun city is a little mixed. The water park side of the establishment is decent, with enough to do to keep a family entertained for about 4 hours. They do have a couple of great sections for children 3 - 7 years of age.a few thrilling slides for those a little older. The water park is probably a little overpriced, but most of them are. The amusement park side of the park could be better. Some of the rides are in need of a little TLC. I will agree with other reviewers, the amusement park side is often times under staffed. Go kart track is typical of other establishments. If arcade games are your thing, look elsewhere. Pensacola, FL has no major amusement park or water park so this is probably the closest thing you will find.
