  We absolutely loved our stay at the Sugar Shack. The house is beautiful and very well decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with great appliances and dishes. It is very close to public access for the beach. It is in close walking distance to the Donut Hut, Dip n Dots and pizza restaurants. We hardly used our car while we were here. We would definitely rent here again.

  Wonderful townhouse right in the heart of Grayton. Easy walk to the beach. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.

  My family and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Grayton Sunset! This house is perfect for multiple families - lots of privacy in the rooms/bathrooms, but very open common areas. The views from the top deck were amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home!!

  Great house - spacious and comfortable. Problem for me was outdoor pests. Lots of large roaches crawling around the pool at night. Car was taken over by ants. Parking is tight. Would return, but due to insects, I couldn't really enjoy the place at night. There is a lot of foliage and trees around the house that makes it bug friendly. Possibly beyond the control of the owners. Possibly not an issue for people who aren't bug phobic. Walk right down to the Red Bar. Easy walk to beach. Really a great place for most people.

  Papa's Hideaway was a vacationers dream. The cabin is immaculate and warm and well appointed. It felt like the Florida I grew up with. We caught enough crabs off the dock from our crab trap to have freshly steamed crabs from the gate. We loved the screened e porch. The private dock made it readily accessible to the beach for our kayaks and paddlboards. The beach is a nice walk away and we spent great time there catching large whiting. This place is three blocks from the Red Bar and all of Grayton. We loved this rental and will come again often. For mixed use; fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle boarding, beach bumbing and relaxing this place is number one.

  Stayed at Eau Naturale at Carillon Beach, a new listing for Rivard. We originally booked through Wyndam via VRBO but shortly before our our vacation, the owners switched management companies and Rivard took over for Wyndham. Wyndham refunded our card & then Rivard charged our card for the same amount Wyndam had charged us --EVEN THOUGH the Rivard price for the house (which was listed on their site) was lower than Wyndam's!! So they overcharged us $600 at the Wyndham price. After complaining-they credited 1/2 of it back to us and said the rest was for chair rental. We have never paid that much for chair rental in our 27 yrs of vacationing. The Rivard manager said he'd give us an extra set of chairs to make up for it. In my opinion he should have graciously refunded us the $600 overcharge.All in all the house was very nice &location couldn't be better. One BIG problem-it has roaches!! If it didn't have roaches, the house & location couldn't be beat & we would stay there again despite my grievance with Rivard--but currently it has roaches! The week before we arrived, the Rivard mgr said the house was dirty when they took it over & not up to their standards but he assured me they cleaned it up, I'm assuming they too saw roaches and sprayed---but I was not warned about them and it grossed us out! I sent an email to Rivard during our stay about the roaches and never heard back--very disappointing.

  It's so good to run across top-notch, old-fashioned customer service these days. I found it at Rivard Rentals. You know the story Big family vacation, all ages from kids to 80 year-olds. Arrived at our rental and found serious problems. One call - that's all it took. Rivard was gracious, understanding, and responsive. In less than ten minutes, they took care of our concerns. Impressive! We'll be talking with them soon about next year's vacation.
