  I like that it’s convenient but the problem is that everything in this store is always passed it’s expiration date. Sometimes it’s by a whole month. And the price is double what you would pay if it was at Fareway or Hy-Vee. Surprised their still in business.

  Camping from out of town with 13 kids.
  
  While it's a friendly hometown place with decent selection turns out the frozen meat we bought that was dated for over a month away was rotten and the two watermelons had been froze at some point. Not really happy about the wasted money

  Sam's is a great place to 'Shop Local' !
  Just recently moved to the Solon area and appreciate a small local store to pick up a few essentials! Sam and his staff are always helpful and even answer phone calls in person! Sam's operation hours are generous for a small town and cater to its patrons. It's a real gem in this day and age ! All communities need a little place like this !

  I'm a new resident in Solon and really appreciate the small town, full service grocery store! Great selection of beer, wine, and liquor and a surprisingly large selection of everything else you might want to find in a grocery store. Sam and staff have always been super friendly and helpful.
