I've had the good fortune of seeing Marissa H. at the South Park location of Salon 42 twice now. She is able to understand what my hair needs with very little input from me. My hair looks and feels like a million bucks and lasts! I would recommend Marissa and this salon to anyone looking for reliable, fantastic color and cut services.

I've been going to Salon 42 on Carmel Road since I moved to Charlotte 3 years ago. They are amazing and I often get compliments on my hair. My daughter now goes there too. It's become a family affair!

I've been looking for a new salon and finally found a great one!! Perfect atmosphere, everyone I encountered was friendly and had awesome customer service. Melissa did an amazing job and I left with exactly what I wanted! Couldn't be happier, and will definitely return!

I saw Marissa, and she was amazing! I have pretty long hair, and she got rid of dead weight and added volume and texture to my hair. I've never found a hairstylist that has been able to do this! All of the other staff was very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Erica Bresler is who we go to. She's fantastic. The front desk staff are very friendly. The salon is always busy which implies that they other stylists must be good as well.

I moved to Charlotte last month and was in search of a new hair salon and stylist. I read many reviews online for a someone to manage my color and curly hair. The reviews raving about Marissa stood out to me so I made an appointment with her for color correction and cut. I met with Marissa for a consultation to discuss my color that I had become very unhappy with over time and my unruly curly hairstyle. She listened to me and gave her honest professional opinion as well as hair care instructions that I have never received before. I could not be happier with the results with both! I have lived in large metropolitan areas and have been to top rated salons. I can honestly say my hair looks better than it ever has! Thank you Marissa!!
