The rooms were clean and spacious and the view was fantastic. The only real complaint is that there is only one elevator and during busy times (like around checkout), it takes a while for an elevator to arrive on your floor without already being full. This is really only an issue if you have a ton of bags.

Wonderful staff and very nice suites. The price is great and the views from the balconies are gorgeous as well as secluded from the neighboring balconies. The shower water pressure wasn't the best, though we were on the 4th floor so that may be why. The mattress on the fold-out couch was a nightmare of springs but the regular couch was comfortable to sleep on and the bedroom was great. Overall I love this hotel and will definitely book here again.

Such a lovely spot!!! Quality service and comfortable rooms! Breathtaking sunsets and convenient to everything! 3rd time staying here and it keeps getting better every year! Can't wait for my next visit!

Rooms are very clean and well appointed. AC blows cold and balcony views are stellar. Staff is very courteous and accomodating. Resort restaurant has the BEST Fish Tacos. Top Notch - will return. 👍

I have stayed at Sailport two years in a row, flying down from CT to visit daughter and son in law. I absolutely love Sailport. It fits the bill for all things required when away from home. Clean, safe, quiet, kitchen, location, friendly staff, reasonable price. Sure staying on an oceanfront or gulf coast would be great, but $300 a night is not in my budget. Hoping Sailport stays safe through Irma.

Awesome, reasonably priced place to stay when in Tampa 24 hour security makes the parking area super safe. Great view of the bay, decent bar with good light fare, and a pretty good restaurant within walking distance -so no need to drive if drinking. Top notch

My girlfriend and i stayed for 8 days. We loved it. Staying here is like staying in your own little apartment. The bedroom was separate from everything else, you have a full kitchen filled with dishes and a full size fridge, stoveand even a dishwasher. From our balcony we could see the water and the volleyball area. They offer a menu from the place located on the propertygreat foodtry the mango salsa and the taco bowl.. Highly recommended and definitely added to my traveling spots to stay.response / report this review -

The best hotel/suite i ever been to rooms are wonderful. Bathroom is clean. Cleaning service is good. The living room area is great. Kitchen is wonderful and they even have a dishwasher in the rooms. The views are great. All in all i would recommend this to everyone. I plan on staying back here again when i come to Florida.

Our stay is always great at the Sailport. Rooms are nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and well appointed with anything you may need. Every room has a view. It's nice and peaceful, but right by a number of places to party if that's your thing. They do have a shuttle to nearby restaurants and clubs, and they recently added their own poolside cafe and bar. I almost hate to say how great it is, because I don't want word to get out about this gem. It's our go-to spot for a relaxed weekend getaway in Tampa.response / report this review -

Stayed at the Sailport Suites last year and maybe it was better or need to get my memory tested.
Either way I booked a two bedroom apartment for 4 days this year and what a disappointment - I should have become suspicious when they charge a deposit for breakages.
The USP of these suites is the views of the bay but this time we were were given a 'Pool view', I put this in quotes as we could actually see about 2% of the pool and the flue from the burger bar.
For the price we paid we were expecting some degree of maid service, in fact they only visit every third day and all they appear to do is empty the bins and refold the damp towels.
As we were only there for four days I didn't ask for the bedding to be changed but they could have at least made them once.
In addition the room was dingy and had issues with tiny flies.
There is a shop behind reception that doesn't show any prices, but I guess when a bottle of milk runs out at $5.50 they aren't going to advertise it.response / report this review -

Great place ! Beautiful views , and the staff is very nice. They provided us an early check in at no charge, and upgraded us for no reason free of charge as well ! The shuttle will take you near by as well as to&from the airport free of charge. I did tip the driver, but otherwise it's complementary . The rooms are basically like small apartments. Lots of good food places and bars near by. Highly recommend this place!
