We rented a cottage and it was very lovely ♥ The staff was professional and kind. Your stay here comes with free breakfast buffet and that is helpful when you have a family. We like it so much that we will be going back.

Went for my birthday last week. It was on a Monday so the Inn was very quiet. Michael, the manager, suggested we come back after dinner to sit by the fireplace and relax in the lounge. We were surprised to find out the bar was closed and we were the only ones enjoying the wonderful fireplace and ambiance. We opened our special bottle of wine and really enjoyed a romantic evening. Thanks, Michael! It will be our special place from now on.

This is a charming, welcoming Inn (and restaurant-bar) in the heart of Lake Arrowhead, CA. We found our accommodations "as promised", but note there is some climbing up the steps (from the parking lot) to get to the cabins. You couldn't see the lake from our cottage, but that could be different with the other units. The reception staff was most charming and helpful. The bar, restaurant area is beautiful -- sorry we didn't have time to enjoy. My only suggestion is that they might consider improving the (complimentary) breakfast for their overnight guests; it was more like what I'd expect at a "discount" place. (and decaf coffee would be nice.)

Great location, the rooms are very clean. Had my daughters wedding there a couple years ago and I would highly recommend it. The staff was very helpful in helping prepare. And the Restuarant/Bar is very nice. Definitely would go back for another stay.

I struggled with the decision to write a review for the Saddleback Inn because it's such a wonderful place, I don't want to share. The comfort and ease of check-in is the preface to a magnificent stay. The restaurant is beautiful and absolutely delicious. Michael at the front desk is so sweet, you never want to leave. They are pet friendly and even have a special section in the restaurant where you can sit with your pet. The staff really went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed every aspect of my stay, and I plan to make this a regular spot to relax and refuel.

Such a cozy friendly place we really had a sweet stay. The food was not that inventive and our room wasn't exceptionally clean, but loved the karaoke night and enjoyed the view of the mountains with our complimentary breakfast

I went for the food, and it was some pretty phenomenal food. It's hard to go wrong ordering anything from the menu, as there are so many excellent choices. Lobster mac & cheese, brazed short rib ravioli, crispy duck, and calamari steak are some of the best I can name off the top of my head, though they were out of duck last time I went, which was disappointing. The service is a bit on the slower side, and prices are very high, but if you're willing to look past those for some excellent food, this is the place to go.

Bathrooms tiles, grout and floors need cleaning. Room was very small, fits only one night stand. No good reading light. Very hard to get in and out of jacuzzy tub that is advertised but guest are asked not to use in order to conserve water. Breakfast was the worst! We went to town because we could not eat the breakfast that was served on one small table buffet of three items total. Moldy smell. Will never stay at this place again! Need good cleaning with bleach for sure.

Quaint little spot with lots of ambiance. Super close to the Village. There was a stone gas fireplace in the room and a whirlpool tub big enough for 2 😉 in the bathroom. We took advantage of the minifridge and in the morning ate the free breakfast. The restaurant downstairs was excellent also.

Love this place every time we visit here. Close enough to never use your car, weather permitting. And free delicious all you can eat breakfast. What more could you ask for?

We had crusted pork chops with some kind of red wine sauce, and they were the best pork chops I've had in my life. The desert was great too. The waitresses were all very nice. The atmosphere was lovely, even had some live music. I wanted to try more things on the menu, all of the items sounded amazing, and if they were as good as what we had, then this is the best place to eat hands down.

The food could have been good but the service was terrible. My lamb chops were cooked well done when I ordered them medium rare. Half of my girlfriends steak was medium rare while the other half was medium well. The service was lack luster, we weren't talked to after the food was brought to us. We were mostly ignored by the older gentlemen who was supposed to be our server. Maybe it was because we were younger than the rest of the clientele there but that's no reason for the terrible service. There are better places to eat in the area and I suggest you go there, especially if you look like you are below 30.

I arrived for karaoke. Bar seating is limited and extends to small tables and fills up quickly. We were able to order appetizers despite how busy they were on a Friday night, which was nice. My fiance had the chicken pot pie and said it was the best he's had. I had scallops on top of spinach florentine which was delicious. They are pricey but a nice thing if you're looking to treat yourself.
