I love this spot. This is our traditional spot.
Stayed for 4 nights over MLK weekend. Staff was friendly enough and the room was clean and very cozy. Always had a parking spot even after it got crowded sat/sun. Picked the place online, with the big tub and fireplace as selling points. Was disappointed when I arrived and learned I wasnt allowed to use bubble bath in the tub or burn real wood in the fireplace (duraflame only).
Horrible bottom of the barrel place. Unsafe rooms. issue with smog inhalation. I recommend that you stay a reputable place and not this one.
We called to let them know about having health issues because we were concerned with carbon monoxide and smoke inhalation. My girlfriend and I both started getting sick. The management was unsympathetic and refused to refund the rest of our stay. We ended up having to cut our New Year’s Eve plans short.
The fire place was perfect and such cute little cabins! Definitely coming back soon! And love that they have fire wood for sale and starter:)
Only thing nice was the fireplace in the room. The room had paper thin walls, the people next to us felt like they were in the room with us! And the room smelled musty.
Cute cabins, great staff!
Great stay, just be sure to follow all their rules.
Nice, quite close to village. Clean and reasonable prices. Owners very nice .
Huge options available for rentals. Very good staff.
I stayed in at Cozy Hollow Lodge at Big Bear Lake and everything was nice except the Wifi didn't work as intended. The staff was still friendly
There is no way this place gets over a 3 star rating. So when I read it's over four I am here to set you straight. First off, its on the main highway into town so it's noisy. All the cabins get the road noise. and it all goes down hill from there so as long as you are one the slopes and not here you should be fine. Want a fireplace? They have them. Want a hot tub, no way. You get a tub just no hot water. I might venture to say a cool tub not even a warm tub.
They will even tell you that, oh you didn't turn on your hot water in time, someone else took it.
That tells me the management is close to nuts. They actually said that.
The rooms are small, and cold and dirty. So stay in the summer so only the noise from the highway will keep you awake.
I took my wife here for our 5 year anniversary and we loved it. The room was very romantic and within a 5 minutes walk of the shops & restaurants. Close to the Alpine Slide too. The people at the office were very knowledgeable of the area and had great recommendations. They even have a playground that matches the log cabin theme. We would definitely bring our kid and stay here again in the future. And the price cannot be beat.
