Friendly front desk workers at Blue Horizon! Stayed here and had a great time kayaking at the place down the road by boulder bay park! Go to Getboards kayaks & paddleboards if you wanna hit the lake!

The lodge is of the main road, so it's kinda private, which I like. The cabins are comfy and adventurous. Nice place!

Great place to stay. Each cottage is like your own little house for the weekend. It totally embraces the mountain feel that you would want while visiting Big Bear.

The owner was awesome. Upon check-in she tells you where to go and where not to go. She also gives suggestions of things to do whilst in Big Bear. If you call her directly before booking, she gives 15% off to military/fire/police.A beautiful Lodge in Big Bear Lake
I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will definitely be staying here again.

SoI was hesitant because it looked small and like one of those "to-good-to-be-clean-and-normal" type of motel. However it is true, clean, and the host Erin is incredibly knowledgeable; she's like the maven of Big Bear and she'll take care of you. The rooms are quaint, kinda retro but in a contemporary way, and perfect for snowboard getaways, weekend getaways, or just a snow day. You will truly not be disappointed, just be sure to ask Erin "what's there to do" in Big Bear. :) Overall, great place and I plan on returning many times!

I stayed here one night with my wife and kids, and was perfect for what we needed. We went to B.B. right after that cold storm hit L.A. in December. The lodge is very quite and very very clean. The lady in charge (im sorry cant remember her name) anyway, she was very nice and willing to take care of whatever we needed. Our cabin had a fireplace, full kitchen and a game console to keep the kids entertained. It is just down the street from the Log Cabin Restaurant so it was very easy to get something to eat after a long day of sledding and playing in the snow. Its a great place to stay when you just want to get away from the city. Are you asking if i would stay there again? Without a second thought YES!
