  Great place! Jason and the folks at the shop are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. You should visit, check out the rivers, and go rafting or tubing.

  We rented kayaks from them last year for a paddle on the Hudson above Rockwell falls. Good boats. Friendly service. Reasonable prices.

  Defiantly do the tubing option, so much fun if you are even slightly fit. Recommend going with a few friends as well, there is a very calm stretch where swimming and sinking people is good fun.

  This is an outfitter that provides guided whitewater raft and kayak trips on the Sacandaga River. The river is dam controlled, with releases nearly every day, so it's one of the few whitewater rivers with reliable water during the summer. The trip they offer is more tame that the Hudson Gorge, so it's more suitable for children and those that are new to whitewater. The outdoor center is conveniently located at the take-out (the confluence of the Hudson and Sacandaga Rivers), so there's no drive back to your car at the end of the trip.
