This is a fabulous place to stay for a getaway. Our group rented the house and loved the flexibility offered. We made this our base camp and then took Motorcycle rides to Lake George, Lake Placid, Ft. Ticonderoga, East Dorset Vermont and other towns. Plenty of bedroom space, bathroom space and parking. Fire pit and outdoor grill too. It's across from the lake so a short walk to the beach to enjoy the serenity of the water.

The Lakeside at Loon Lake is a very charming small family resort that is owned by Walter & Heidi Robak. They are great hosts and go over and above to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. The Loon House is an amazing Lodge style home and the kids loved the hot tub inside. We also stayed in the Bass Bunk cabin and this large 2 bedroom cabin is the most beautiful cabin you could find in the Adirondacks. All of the cabins have the amenities of a time share, are rustic like you would want for an Adirondack cabin, but yet very very clean. Our family has been coming here for a few years and will continue to come back for many many more.
